Spectacular one bedroom OCEANFRONT Kapalua Bay Villa, unit 21B3. VIEW the ocean and LISTEN to the surf whether you are sitting on the sofa, eating breakfast or resting in bed. The sights and sounds are the same throughout the villa. It's as if you are on the helm of a ship; there is nothing in front of you except the ocean. This unit is one of the few that has an unobstructed view of Oneloa Bay Beach from inside the villa. It is one of the closest buildings to the beach and ocean in the complex, approximately 100 feet as the crow flies. Not all one bedroom units have a view of the ocean from the bedroom, this one does! The stairs to the beach below are located at the front of our building, number 21. Check the complex map and google satellite on this web page to see actual location.

One king-size bed and full bath with a shower big enough for two upstairs in a large bedroom and a portable twin size air mattress and half bath downstairs. Villa sleeps 2 adults and 1 child can use air mattress on floor. Fully equipped kitchen. All towels and linens provided. Washer and dryer inside unit. Two flat screen 43 inch televisions. One in bedroom and one in living room. Walk two minutes to the beach below or walk ten minutes to Kapalua Bay Beach for snorkeling and sunbathing. From January to April watch whales breaching and spouting from the living room or outside on the lanai. Free shuttle around Kapalua Three pools and two tennis courts on site for your pleasure. Two world class golf courses nearby. 10 miles from Historic Lahaina Town

The view is unreal and you can hear the waves from inside the condo. The Coastal Trail is just a few steps away - perfect for morning or evening walks. One of the most quiet and peaceful stays I’ve ever had.

A wonderful property with great amenities. The view from the balcony and bedroom was even better than the pictures. It was quite windy during our stay which seems pretty common for this area. The owner was very helpful and communicative.

Beach Front Paradise!

Fabulous Ocean-Front property in Kapalua! Literally footsteps from the beach and crashing waves. Property owner is very communicative and helpful. Condo has everything you need for a great Hawaiian vacation. Can’t wait to come back! I would highly recommend.

Wow, Just WOW!

Absolutely loved our 10 day stay in this fabulous property! Throughly equipped, easy living, SPECTACULAR view and beach access, plus uber comfy seating and bedding. It truly was a home away from home in a most gorgeous island setting. Exceptional communication with the host throughout the rental process and stay. Can't recommend this home highly enough!

Great Place & Awesome Host

The property owner is awesome. John provided us with a great place to stay, was very knowledge about local activities, and his communication was second to none. This location in the Bay Villas is tough to beat, you have a pool out the front door and the steps to the beach out the back + an amazing balcony! We will surely visit again!

Breathtaking View

Kapalua Bay Villas never disappoint. This condo has the best view on the property. It’s close to great beaches and restaurants. Kapalua Walking Trail is right outside your door. I will definitely be back!

Second time around

This was our second year staying here, and again, it did not disappoint. Everything we needed was here including beach items. You cannot get a better location in Kapalua than at this unit. Check in was simple. We look forward to staying here again next year!!

Hawaiian escape business and pleasure

This rental was exactly what you think of when you think Hawaii. I loved waking up every morning to the sunrise, leaving the windows open for fresh air, and basically having a semi-private beach. Rarely more than 10 people on the beach at any time it was just a wonderful escape. I traveled here to photography a wedding and celebrate 10 years with my husband, this condo made both reasons for visiting Maui perfect.

Anniversary Celebration Week

The unit was a perfect size for the week stay. It was well stocked with kitchen items, linens, beach chairs, etc. Can't think of anything that we needed that wasn't in the unit. Owner was very easy to reach and communicate with before and throughout the stay. Highly recommend the unit.

Perfect location and views

We had a wonderful stay at Kapalua Bay Villas, the location cannot be beat. If you love beautiful views and being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean, you will love it here. The interior is older but still very nice, the kitchen has everything you need with extra supplies, bed is very comfortable and amazing views from bedroom and living room. You cannot beat the value for money. Communications were excellent and checkin process a breeze, we were also able to get a later check out time, which was amazing and so helpful! I highly recommend and look forward to future stays here.

Paradise for Walkers

We stayed at this unit for a week in August 2011 and loved it! The condo is nicely decorated with amazing views of the beach from the living room and bedroom. Everything, including beaches, restaurants, and a well-stocked general store, is within walking distance so we hardly used our rental car. It is very easy to work with the owner to make reservations and he is very organized in getting information to you about the stay. We are already trying to find time to return!

As another reviewer said, the photos don’t do it justice. It is a stunningly beautiful setting. The beach is gorgeous and the setting is dramatic. Swimming, snorkeling, and great dining options are so close by. The space is inviting and very, very comfortable. Absolutely no issues at all. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

Great Location and Great Service

We stayed in this unit for 10 days beginning December 26th. The location is among the best that you can get for a Bay Villa location and the unit is updated and well maintained. Steps from the beach and central to other locations in Kapalua. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and very professional in all interactions. I would highly recommend this unit.

Nice Location

This property was in an amazing location. On a small cliff overlooking a great beach with easy access. Within 15 minutes walking to a few nice restaurants, coves and beaches. A short drive to many others. Just up the road from a major resort, with Lahaina being just a few minutes more away with a few nice restaurants (though still mostly recovering from the fire). The unit itself is not new, and could have been just a bit cleaner, but completely sufficient for our stay. It had everything one would need for cooking if one desired, as well as a few beach things (chairs, umbrella, body boards, etc) that were useful. Parking was easy. Finding it at night was a bit tricky, so pay attention to the hosts directions and scope out a map beforehand to reduce any confusion working through the maze. Once you do it during the day, it's easy. I'd recommend it!

Million dollar views

The views from this unit are spectacular. To lay in bed and watch the sun rise and the waves roll in and out is just wonderful. The unit is actually so loud from the crashing waves you feel like you’re sitting on the beach! We were able to watch turtles swim back and forth at oneloa beach from the lanai. The unit itself is in need of some freshening up but is well stocked with all essentials. We had a fantastic stay!

Couldn't Ask for More

My husband and I stayed in this lovely condo during our honeymoon. We loved the views. Imagine falling asleep to the sound of the surf and waking up to a view of the ocean and surfing in the early morning light. The condo was in very good shape. Clean, comfortable, well-decorated and well-equipped. The dual shower heads were great! My husband enjoyed a run on the trail by the beach, and we snorkeled with sea turtles at nearby Napili Beach. We hope we are fortunate enough to return to Maui one day and stay at this condo again.

Fantastic Kapalua Bay Unit

We have been visiting the Kapalua Bay Villas for more than 10 consecutive years in a variety of Oceanfront units. Without question, this was our favorite experience in a unit that exceeded every expectation. From the extremely comfortable bed, unparalleled view, fully stocked unit we could not have been more pleased. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much, that we rebooked for 2024. If you are looking to stay at the Kapalua Bay Villas, do yourself a favor and choose this unit. John (property manager) is great to work with and super responsive. ALOHA!

Beach View

Have been to Kapalua several times over 30 plus years, main reason i picked this condo was the view over my favorite beach, the view is great from this condo. The condo needs serious major remodeling, for those, it being their first time stay, it might be great to them, but have stayed in several Kapalua Bay Ocean Front condos and know different. Thats all im going to say. bryan

Best location on Maui.

I love Kapalua. Constant breezes, great beaches, almost no crowds as its on the north part of West Maui where developments basically stop. I have stayed at the Kapalua Bay Villas before and enjoyed my time there, but this location is perched just above Oneloa beach and couldn’t be nicer. Even when we weren’t on the beach we would just watch the turtles swim by. Saw over 15. Easy parking, great gardens, three pools for the kiddos and…walk less than 2 mins to one of the best beaches on Maui. If the surf is up, you can walk 5 mins farther to the beach in front of the Montage. Never waves there and pretty good snorkeling. The property owner was a great communicator. Value is hard to beat. We will be booking for next year as soon as the airline ticket reservations open up (11 months out)

Great View, Bad Condition

The first thing we noticed was how hard the door was to open and close. Upon entering the condo there was a musty damp smell. We removed our shoes to look around and then noticed how dirty our new white socks were, carpets need cleaning. The water pressure in the upstairs bathroom faucets and the shower is weak. The blinds upstairs are rusted and very hard to move up and down. The back of the downstairs drape looks like it possibly has some mold on it. The east facing living room window had a leak inside we heard a drip after the rain, we put a container under it and caught about a cup of water in three days. There is very bad peeling paint on the kitchen window. The electrical panel has a fair amount of rust inside of it. With the exception of the sliding door, the windows were in poor operating condition. Very odd that there was a door stashed behind the bedroom dresser. Based on the VRBO website description we did not expect the condo to be in this condition. Clearly there is no pride of ownership for this unit. This unit does have a fantastic view. We would not rent this condo again.
