Your cozy getaway awaits in Hampton at this superb house! With 3 bedrooms including 2 queen beds and 1 full bed, this home offers a serene escape for guests. Enjoy the convenience of having the full home to yourself. You're walking distance to a dog park with a small playground and waterfront where you can fish and enjoy the scenery. There's also a small boat inlet on the other side of the neighborhood that you can walk past and enjoy viewing the boats.

We have WiFi, a washer and dryer, coffee, linens for you, and more. Relax in the living room with a comfy sofa bed for additional space. Use the fireplace for your needs, enjoy time with your pets in the fenced in yard, and enjoy games in the spare room in the back!

You're only 10 MINUTES AWAY from Fort Monroe Beach and Buckroe Beach. Downtown Hampton is also only 5 minutes away! Enjoy spectacular restaurants, waterfront views, NASA air and space museum, and so much more.

We had a great stay! House was clean, kitchen was relatively well stocked and had a lot of fun appliances, the large fenced backyard was a highlight for our kids, and the house was located in a great neighborhood very close to the water. Lots to do nearby including peaceful walking trails and a nice beach.

This was my first VRBO and things could not have gone better. It turned out to be perfectly suited for us. Every room was neat and clean, the kitchen especially was well stocked with spices, pots and pans, flatware, coffee makers, etc., and the roomy back yard is a great place to relax at the end of the day. The air conditioner was set perfectly and never needed adjusting. There are plenty of towels, washcloths and handsoap, as well as toiletpaper and tissues in the bathrooms. The house is in a lovely tree-lined neighborhood just a short drive from the major arteries connecting you to Fort Eustis, Newport News, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach. Lisa is a fantastic host who responds right away to inquiries and knows a lot about the area. If you have a problem with stairs, that might be the only drawback to this property, but overall, the house has the feel of a friendly cottage and we were very comfortable there. Thank you Lisa!

The check-in process was seamless. We did have a breakdown in communication, with an issue that arose with the stove top. Lisa did explain the delay in communication, but that was after we had already checked out. The house was pretty clean other than the oven, but it was also not used during our stay.

Nice home and Location

Location - Nice spot in Hampton. The immediate streets are quite nice. Felt safe. Location adds a little time to drive to Norfolk attractions & restaurants. Amenities - had the basics! Nice quiet back yard. Cleanliness was ok, could have been a little cleaner from the dog. Great value price-wise.

Had to drive to access the sea :(

I booked this property because the listing said it was 2-3 blocks from the bay. I messaged the host asking if the bay was suitable for swimming and was told yes its great for families, kids, etc. Upon arriving, it took nearly a day to learn that there was no nearby sea access - not to the bay as listed, and not to the ocean either. The closest spot for swimming was 15-20 minutes away. The fencing in the yard is not full height, it's about half height - the photos were misleading. 2/3 of the beds didn't have any sheets or pillow cases, only decorative pillow shams and a comforter. The host was slow to respond to queries but did provide brand new linens the same day as requested. The house was exceptionally clean, the a/c was nice and cold and the bath water was hot.. but I wouldn't stay here again if I were going for a "beach" vacation.
