Great Value Large Yard Butterfly Garden/Pond/ 1 to 3 Units

Weekly rental only, Saturday to Saturday. Walk to Beach! This is comfortably decorated and designed for a great family vacation. Very clean and spacious with all the comforts of home. Central air and ceiling fans. Very large newly landscaped yard. Enjoy one condo with your family or invite extended family or friends. You can vacation together and yet maintain your own privacy and space.

Each private side by side first floor condo contains all amenities including fully-equipped eat-in kitchen with dish washer, tile floor, microwave oven, blender, mixer and coffee maker. Living room is large and also includes cable TV with HBO and Blu-Ray. All new wall to wall carpeting throughout. The large 40 foot x 80 foot newly landscaped yard (with barbecue, picnic tables, chairs, and hammock) provides plenty of outdoor space for relaxing for young and old alike. There is even an outdoor enclosed hot water shower that feels great when cleaning up after a fun day at the beach. Washer and dryer included.

Our vacation condos are located in a lovely quiet residential area on St. Paul, in the Lower part of Wildwood Crest. Just three blocks from the beach on a quiet residential block. It is also just a short walk to restaurants, a Philadelphia-style deli, Ice Cream Parlor, and Sunset Lake. You'll find Sunset Lake to be a truly charming spot for evening walks, gorgeous sunsets, fishing, crabbing, jet skiing, boating, water-skiing, waverunners, and shore history (The Revolutionary War Battle of Turtle Gut was fought here... we Won!).

Other places to visit that are just a short drive away: Cape May County Zoo, Wildwood Boardwalk, Victorian Cape May, Historic Cold Spring Village, Wetlands Environmental Center, Anglesea and Cape May Lighthouses, Summer stock theaters and concerts, and Lemmings Run Gardens; thirty minutes to the Casinos in Atlantic City. Bus service is available close-by.

Great rental - we will be back!!

This unit had everything that was advertised and more! The owners paid attention to detail. The kitchen was well stocked and we just had everything we needed from BBQ supplies, outdoor tablecloths, dish soap, laundry soap etc. We are so happy we found a nice clean place where we can have our dog with us. The neighborhood is pretty and quiet - great place to walk the dog and great deli/coffee shop and restaurant in walking distance. The owner was quick to respond and available to answer any questions I had and she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. We look forward to staying here again!

Perfect

This property was just what we were looking for!! It had all the comforts of home. The kids loved the yard and of course the hammock. It was a short walk to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Sunset lake was super close. Having our family dogs able to stay with us made life much easier too. Mary and Rich were great and even showed up our first day with welcome goodie bags for the kids!! We will definitely be back and refer our family and friends there!! Thanks Again Chris

Clean, comfortable unit with well-stocked kitchen. Dog-friendly yard and people

This small condo unit is one of three on premises. While it's not new by any means, it's comfy and clean and stocked with many virus-killing supplies in case you forget yours. Nice yard with lovely flowers and butterflies. Great if you travel with your canine family member, like I always do. Close to the bay and gorgeous sunsets, and not far from beach. Sooo much quieter than staying in a motel. We slept well (crucial) and had fun cooking breakfasts and grilling seafood nearly every night on our private grill the owners kindly brought us. Mary is a gracious hostess, and really cares about your comfort and satisfaction. Also, there's an outdoor shower and laundry area plus large clothesline in yard. Convenience is a super plus!

Vacation with our dog

We really enjoyed ourselves. This place is just the right size, had all the amenities we could have asked for and it's close to the bay where our dog loved to meet with other dogs and take long walks. A short walk to the beach as well.

One of the better experiences we've had at the Jersey shore in the last 20 years.

This is a 3 unit older property that is well outfitted and maintained. What attracted us most was that it is dog friendly. Owners stopped by to check on us early in our stay. My husband is our chef and usually travels with his essential utensils. He didn't this time and didn't really need to. He missed his favorite deep frying pan, but most every other thing he needed he found in the kitchen. The unit also had a dishwasher which was a treat. Laundry and outdoor shower are shared among the 3 units. Lovely landscaped yard with a pond attracted monarch butterflies, even though it was early for their migration. The lake is 2 blocks away and the beach a long 4 to 5 block walk. Would recommend this property.

Perfect for us!

We stayed here 30 years ago and rented in late August based on our favorable memories of the place. We were not disappointed! It's a great pet-friendly location in a lovely part of the Crest near Sunset Lake and just a few blocks from the beach. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. We were happy to have a shaded yard, gas grill, washer/dryer, clothesline, and a place to park our bikes. The Brautigans are caring and responsive owners, and it was a pleasure renting from them.

Perfect!

When we decided to come to Wildwood Crest again, this is the only property we looked at since we had such an amazing time last time. Once again, this condo suited our family well. We love our nightly walks to Sunset Beach. And Mary Beth was so easy to work with! Would definitely stay again.

Well stocked for convenience with a great location- 2 blocks from bay and 4 from beach. Friendly area. Owners there to greet us. Wish we could have used the yard and grill more but too many mosquitoes. No big deal bed was a double, not a queen.

Great location, pretty garden, good value

We loved being 2 blocks from Sunset Lake (great place to walk dogs) and 3 blocks from beach. Beautiful uncrowded beach at Wildwood Crest!! The size of the condo meets basic needs of a beach vacation: living room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. Our unit slept 7 which was plenty for us. Lawn in garden was too high for most of our stay, harboring mosquitoes! I would recommend this condo for a beach vacation with kids and a dog.

Lovely place to stay

The home was well equipped and comfortable. We were not far from the beach. Wildwood Crest beach and the area isn't too busy, and the water is wonderful. Could even walk to the lake in the am. Quiet and nice. It was great to come back to Wildwood Crest after a visit to the crazy boardwalk. The owner stopped in to say hi and welcome us too. Very sweet! We would gladly stay there again.

Great Vacation

We rented 2 units in August of 2015. My 18 year old daughter and her friend, my 5 year old son, husband and dog were in unit 2 and my parents with their dog stayed in unit 1. We had a wonderful vacation. Both units were clean and well stocked. We had our lunches and dinners in the backyard. I was able to throw the wash in while we go to the boardwalk. We love the Wildwood Crest area and vacationed their many times before. This was the first time we brought our dogs with us and everyone had a great time. Mary was there to welcome us in and answer any questions we had. We are certainly looking forward to coming back next year. Thank you.

Enjoyable Vacation

Three families shared all three condos. They were clean and comfortable. The yard was a nice place to relax, plenty of room for outdoor games. The beach is only three blocks away (short walk). Cape May is a short drive where there are many unique stores. The young adults enjoyed the local brewery. The BayView Inn is at the end of the street. It's a great restaurant with a beautiful view. The owners were very friendly and accommodating to any need. We enjoyed our time and will return.

wonderful experience

Our family had a great experience again this year. The apartments are spacious and well kept. The kids had plenty of room to play and we all especially enjoyed the vaious boardgames that the owners keep in the apartment for guests. The yard is relaxing and safe for kids of all ages to play in. the neighbors (both renters and those next door) have been friendly and curtious of each other. The kids review: 'We loved everything about the living room, especially the front window' (they like watching the butterflys and birds). My kids are begging to return already. :) Definatly a great place to stay if you have children or just enjoy being comfortable.

Having a WONDERFUL TIME HERE. Really think that the early fall is such a wonderful time at the beach - the water is warmish, the beaches/restaurants/etc. are not crowded and the weather is fabulous. LOVE these apartments. They are very comfortable, have everything I need and are not fancy. We've eaten every meal out in the yard enjoying the flowers & being entertained by the butterflies & birds. We've been here before and will definitely be back. This is a wonderful, relaxing vacation spot. Thank you to the owners for maintaining them so well.

Perfection untouched by Sandy

My High School Reunion group spent a long weekend here and was impressed by this lovely rental in Wildwood Crest. It was my first time in the area and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the beach - not unlike Miami Beach. The house, yard, and neighborhood was squeaky clean and manicured. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities, such as the dishwasher, and the fully stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed to prepare wonderful meals and BBQ's. Everything was so easy and I highly recommend this place!

Great Vacation Spot

We had a great & relaxing vacation at your wonderful condos. Took a nap in the hamock, watched the birds take a bath in the mini pond while enjoying coffee and the paper in the yard. Walked to the beach in the afternoon and then to The Bayview Inn where we enjoyed happy hour on the deck looking out on Sunset Lake. An excellent location & set-up. The condo was very clean and in great shape. Everything worked perfectly. It was very nice to have a wide screen TV with a full movie package & wifi. Also really happy that there was a gas grill and washers & dryers. I made for easy summer meals and was nice to not have to return from vacation with bags of dirty clothes. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone and look forward to a return visit. There were any number of attractions/ restaurants that we would like to explore on future visits. Perhaps next time we will talk friends or family to coming with us so that we can take more than one apartment - it would be a great set-up for a mini reunion..

Upon first view the property is clean and the grounds well manicured. The owner is pleasant and responsive. But appearances are deceiving. The queen bed in one of the bedroom's needed to be changed out after it collapsed on the first night, the towel bar in the bathroom was broken and the flat screen TV went black for several hours. When I called about the TV outage I did not receive any response. In fact it was a neighbor who fixed the wiring for us. Bad went to worse - as we were woken to the high pitch whine of the smoke detector in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. The following morning (9am) we were informed by an inspector that the detector was over 10 years old! The so-called comfortable queen sofa bed was a disaster. Who could sleep on a mattress two inches thick with the springs protruding on the sides.!!! Given the horrendous experience the owner should have returned part of our rental fee or offered a refund. Under the cicumstances I would NEVER recommend this rental to any one.

Perfect vacation spot!

I'm so glad that I found this Wildwood listing! It was a perfect spot for my family to spend a wonderful, relaxing week of vacation this summer! And the fact that our dog could come with us really made this the perfect spot. The condo had everything that we needed and is in great condition. The wifi and flat screen were great to have also. Beautiful gardens to look out to and enjoy also! The owners are quick to answer emails and a pleasure to meet! You will see us again in the years to come! Thank you!

great relaxing vacation!

Had a great time with my family. Enjoyed the beautiful peaceful garden and took dogs for a nice walk to Sunset Lake which is only a block away. Close enough to walk to beach too. Would definitely recommend this place. Will be calling to schedule again.

Our family has had a home and vacationed on this street in Wildwood Crest since the late 1960's. It is a lovely residential family oriented community with lots of quiet and privacy but close to everything.

This property is unique because it offers not only great accomodations in each unit but affords fantastic expansive outdoor space for relaxing with beautitiful butterfly garden with pond and lots of birds and butterflies all summer long.

What makes this property unique

It is not often you can find a beach rental where you can walk to one of the best beaches on the east coast and also feel like you have all the space and the comforts of home and a large beautiful yard to sit out and enjoy as well. Complete with BBQs, hammock and patio furniture.
