CU-Boulder Father/Daughter Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We have very successfully been using VRBO for renting our cabin but this was my first time on the other side being a guest. Having very gratefully received 66 out of 67 five star reviews for our place, I greatly appreciated the attention to the details by Jens and Kathryn. Just blocks away from the CU-Boulder campus and The Hill, where you'll find lots of shops and restaurants, the location was perfect. The accommodations were clean, complete, and honestly presented on the VRBO site. An absolute pleasure doing business with Jens and looking forward to my next visit to Boulder. Thank you!

Weekend Visit

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent four lovely days at this sweet, immaculate, well-designed little apartment. The unit is comfortable and clean, feels large for the space, and heat and ventilation worked well. The kitchenette was all we needed. Owner provided an air mattress fora one-night visitor. Close to hiking trails, central to Boulder, not quite walk-able to most restaurants, although a great coffee shop is withing a few blocks. Uber trips would be easy. Area was quiet, removed by blocks from fraternity houses and parties. Owner was responsive and accommodating. Note, there are stairs down to the unit, which has a nice sunshiny patio attached. We would stay there again.

What a comfortable and lovely spot, and perfect location for visiting a CU student. Close to hikes and to downtown. Cordial, helpful hosts and exceptional accommodations. Highly recommended in a very competitive market.

J and G, VA

My husband and I had a great time staying in Jens and Kathryn's apt in Boulder. Our son is currently working (his first job out of college( in Broomfield (15 min down the road) so the location was great. Our first trip to Boulder and staying in this apt. was perfect. Hiking, great cafes, restaurants, coffee shops (the one at 9th and college is fabulous) all were in easy reach. Jens and Kathryn were lovely hosts and we would think of them again on a follow up trip.

Great location for couple

  • 5 of 5

This was a great find-I wish we could have stayed longer. Comfortable space with private patio- great for the fabulous Boulder weather. Bright and airy even for a garden level- I was pleasantly surprised. Park your car and leave it- walking distance to hiking/climbing at Chatauqua, the Hill, university and about a 15 walk to downtown/pearl street. Short walk to local strip mall with Whole Foods, barber and other merchants. If you don't fancy walking, take the bus or ride your bike. Jens and Kathryn were friendly and lovely hosts. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip.

Thanks for the hospitality!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at Jens and Kathryn's apartment as we always feel at home there when visiting family and friends in the area. It's a good size space with a nice size bathroom, a comfortable bed and a full size refrigerator. It's just down the street from the Flatirons state park so we were able to walk to a concert as well as picturesque hikes. Its also very close to downtown Boulder with all its restaurants, stores and farmers market. We highly recommend it and will return again next year.

Thanks once again for your hospitality.
