Our lovely 1200 sf garden level apartment located on the East side of Boulder has spectacular views of Boulder and the Rocky Mountain Continental divide. Our totally separate apartment (not shared with anyone) has an open dining, living and full kitchen that bring the outdoors in, are a compliment to the large bedrooms. No stairs at the entry, a one level layout and wide doorways lend itself to being wheelchair accessible, but counter/sink heights are not ADA compliant. It is totally private with its own entrance, off street parking, heating, AC system, Wifi, phone, full size laundry, BBQ, outside table/chairs with view of Boulder and the Rockies.

We have lived in Colorado most of our lives and are very willing to share with you information on points of interest in and around Boulder and Colorado. We are avid hikers, down-hill and back country skiers and cyclists. We have 3 bikes & helmets to loan so that the 300 miles of Boulder bicycle lanes and multi-use paths are available to enjoy. Walking the foothills and prairie opens views to birds, evergreen trees or rock climbers.

find dry, world class snow at ski areas within 45 minutes to 1.25 hours drive from Boulder.

About The Owner

Reed is a retired electrical and telecommunications engineer and businessman with degrees in both. Carol is a retired Speech Therapist, Language Arts & Learning Disability teacher.

We are actively engaged with a combined family (5 children, 5 grand children, 4 great grandchildren), friends, bicycling, downhill & backcountry skiing, hiking, chorale singing, dancing, traveling...…and life in general. We are both graduates of the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Why The Owner chose Boulder

We designed our house and included an apartment for our parents to live in when they needed assisted living.

What makes this apartment unique

We are warm and friendly and have lived in Boulder for 35 years and have a wealth of information about Boulder and Colorado that we are more than willing to share with you. Having three loaner bikes for those who enjoy the wind in their hair is indeed serendipitous.

Beautiful views in Boulder

Our family stayed at this vacation apartment when we visited Rocky Mountain National Park. We wanted to stay near Boulder and visit the city. The trip to the park was about an hour away. This was a wonderful resting place with all the comforts of home. Reed and Carol were attentive to our needs and were readily available if we had any issues. We would recommend their apartment home to anyone.

Easily the best rental in Boulder!

I stayed in Carol and Reid's apartment this summer while training for Ironman Boulder. It was wonderful! The apartment and neighborhood are clean and quiet, and the view from the living room window was absolutely gorgeous! Carol and Reid made me feel so welcome! It is an easy bike ride or drive to downtown Boulder and shopping. I would most highly recommend this place.

Perfect Accomodations

We couldn't have been happier with our apartment. It was extremely well appointed and equipped. The unit was immaculate and the owners very helpful and engaging. The surrounding neighborhood is very residential, which we liked, yet close to all of Boulder. We would definitely stay again. We also thought it was a very good value!

Wonderful Stay!

My husband and I stayed in this very comfortable and large, 2 bedroom condo for two months. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The location was great, a few minutes drive to downtown and all the wonderful restaurants and attractions.

The owners, Carol and Reed, were very accommodating and welcoming. Being able to look out the front windows of the condo and see the snow capped mountains was priceless!

Would definitely recommend this rental for someone wanting a comfortable and quiet environment yet still be close to everything!
