Thorne's Downtown Delight is a perfectly positioned home for anyone who likes to be in the middle of it all! Only two blocks away from the Red River Ski and Summer Area! This two-story home has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. As you walk into this one of a kind vacation home you will find yourself in the downstairs sitting area with a large table for eating, playing board games or cards, large TV, and a DVD player where you may choose to watch satellite or movies from home! Continuing through this level you will find the master bedroom furnished with a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV with a private bathroom featuring a walk-in closet, and a walk-in shower. Across the hall from the master is a guest bedroom complete with a queen-sized bed and a flat-screen TV with access to the hallway bathroom. Also on this level, you will find the third bedroom furnished with two twin beds, a half bathroom, and a TV for youngsters to connect their gaming consoles or a DVD player too. On up the stairs, you will find the formal dining room, well-stocked kitchen with lots of counter space for food prep, and the cozy living room with a large TV to watch satellite, a DVD Player for family entertainment, a unique kiva wood burning fireplace and a half bathroom. Other amenities that Thorne's Downtown Delight guests may use are a washer/dryer, free Wi-Fi, front patio with outdoor seating, fenced back patio, Gas BBQ Grill (gas cylinder provided, Courtesy of Red River Real Estate), shopping at your fingertips, beautiful views of the Red River Ski Area; Thorne's is also close to Mallette Park that it's practically a stone throw away! Mallette Park offers many things to do for the entire group from ATV trail riding to playing a game of hoops or a round of disc golf.

Great location!

This property was in a great location, close to everything! It also was very spacious. Could have used more lighting or bulbs in the front living room and the smell of the place could be improved but overall it was a good place.

Probably little dated but fine. We never was able to get internet so we had to cut our stay short- left 2am Sunday instead of the Tuesday check out date. We called office on Thursday, was told to turn off box to reset but did not work. Also dish would turn off and on for no apparent reason and remote in from bedroom did not work. Back master room wall has a problem- must have a water leak - wall was wet to touch and a beginning of a musty smell beginning. Also had a problem with people parking in front and in parking place at house when we would leave and come back with no place to park.

Really nice stay

Very good overall. I may just be an inexperienced fire starter, but couldnt figure out the venting, and such, for the upstairs fire place. There wasnt a grill available as was said in the listing. Also, the downstairs breaker kept flipping tripping. Controlled master bedroom and heater. We didnt have it too warm, so not sure of the cause. Overall, it was absolutely great

Wonderful stay

Thorne House is a wonderful house for a family or friends. Lots of space and well stocked with everything you need. The location just off Main Street is convenient to everything in Red River. Would definitely stay here again.

Very roomy with 3 BR, 2 living areas, dining room and spacious kitchen. Loved that it had a laundry room w/washer and dryer. Loved that it had plenty of closet space and hangers to use. Ran out of hot water when we all showered close together but that was the only "negative". Would definitely stay here again or recommend this to friends/family.

We stayed in red river for October fest. The house was in walking distance to the festival and restaurants. This is a great place to stay we had everything we needed and were very comfortable. We easily recommend this comfy place, I’m sure we’ll return for another stay in the future.

Delightful and charming

Huge home. Had lots of room for everyone and super close to lifts. Guests could walk back and forth thru out the day. Upstairs was beautiful and so big! Plenty of room to watch TV and play games. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you could want for cooking for big crowd. You could sleep 2 extra kids easily. One on the couch upstairs and one on the big built-in bench seat upstairs. Only negative is that we ran out of hot water the first night with everyone trying to take a shower or bath so had to space out showers at night. I would defiantly recommend staying at this property.
