The house was great for a holiday with family. Plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub was nice and patio area to grill out. The location was close to restaurants and shopping.
The location to HPU was great. The hot tub was great; the water was at 101' and ready for use. There was no gas in the propane tanks, after approx. 8 minutes the tank on the grill ran out of propane and the tank on the griddle also ran out of propane after about 5-8 minutes of use. I had to leave my food on the grill and run to the gas station and do a tank exchange to finish my gilling.i would recommend more hangers in the closets. The closet in the upstairs master had two wire hangers I did not check the other closets for hanger.
House was spacious enough for our 3 families to stay and had enough rooms/ beds for proper sleeping arrangements. Kitchen wasn’t as well stocked as I’ve seen in other rentals. No large pots to boil pasta, only one large skillet and griddle. Plenty of plates, bowls and cups and eating utensils. Grill and griddle like a blackstone on patio. Few griddle tools. And griddle was pretty dirty and needed cleaned and reseasoned which we did. One propane tank was full. Yard area spacious with hammock. House was clean but needs a few touch ups to replace some broken items like floor vent covers. Smoke detector disconnected on main floor and upstairs only had one. No plug in upstairs master en-suite bathroom which we found strange. Lots of closets but few hangers. Overall this property worked for our group with some adjustments. Host was good to work with and responsive.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The listing photos are accurate, and for the price point this place is a fantastic find for a larger group. The host has clearly put a lot of thought into making it work well for big gatherings. It comfortably slept our crew (good beds, bedding, and towels), and there was plenty of space to sit and eat since there are basically two main seating/eating areas (kitchen and dining room). The large wraparound couch was also perfect for hanging out, and it worked great for our Christmas gift time. Also, this was one of the best-stocked kitchens I’ve seen in a VRBO. Quality pans, plenty of utensils, pot holders, two types of coffee machines, griddle, and more. It enabled us to cook for a group, which was great.Backyard is pretty sloped (so not great for football/running around), but there’s a nice hot tub / grilling area, some seating, and the fenced area was great for dogs. Also lots of parking with the long driveway.Thank you!
