About this property

Peaceful Country Setting with FREE TAMU Football Parking

The newly-constructed guest house includes one bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized bed, closet, living area with pull-out sofa bed, full-size kitchen, pantry, bathroom, and laundry room. The front door opens to a large, upper-level deck with tables and seating for four.

The fully-functional kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, oven and cook-top with vent hood, large microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. There are place settings, cookware, cooking utensils, glasses, and other basic items for cooking.

The living area includes a sofa that expands to a queen-size bed as needed, table and chairs, and a flat-screen TV with local channels and DVD player.

The large, outdoor deck has two bar-height tables with seating for four. The deck overlooks the oak tree forest to the back of the property. It is perfect for relaxing, barbecuing, and entertaining.

The guest house is located on the second level of the building and is accessible by stairs only. The building is completely private (no one lives downstairs). Solar panels on the roof supplement the building's energy systems and provide most of the electric and hot water usage.

We had such a great experience. Although the square footage is small, the host makes great use of all of the space and at no time did we feel cramped. Very clean. Great proximity to Kyle Field and the parking was A+. The setting too is very peaceful. Highly recommend staying here!

Adam and Kathrin both attended and obtained degrees from Texas A&M University. We have lived and worked in the area for more than ten years. Adam owns a solar business and teaches at the university, and Kathrin is a veterinarian and doing research at Texas A&M.

This property offers the best of both worlds: It is a peaceful, country-like setting on 2.5 acres, away from busy town life, town lights, and town noise -- yet it is only seven minutes away (by car) to the university or downtown Bryan!

What makes this property unique

The New England style construction is cozy and somewhat unique in this area. The wooded setting and large area of natural landscape offers more privacy than typical neighborhoods. The neighbors are friendly, helpful, and many are often out walking on the main road.
