Lakefront 2-bed 2 bath, Boat,Beach,AC, wifi & newly renovated. Sun to Fri only

South Dease Lake is waiting for you at our fully renovated Lakefront Guest Cottage with 2-bedrooms. The living room with large windows has an awesome view of the sandy beach, lake and dock that are just a few steps off the deck. A 21 Foot Pontoon is available (Liability waiver is required to be signed to use Pontoon) or you can bring your own boat. The private Boat Launch is conveniently located nearby and there is Trailer Parking available on the property. The deck has an outdoor table and chairs, swing and gas grill. The living room has a sofabed for additional sleeping. Guests can enjoy the convenience of 2 full bathrooms with a private primary bathroom. All appliances are new, fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave as well as new front load washer and dryer. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, ensuring a pleasant night's sleep. We purchased this little place next door and fully updated it just a few years ago, and we use it for family/friends overflow. We look forward to hosting you at our guest cottage on beautiful, quiet, private all sports South Dease Lake in Hale. If you need anything during your stay do not hesitate to reach out ( we are next door).

The house was beautiful and so clean, cleanest house we've ever stayed at. Lake was absolutely beautiful, large windows off the back of the house with an amazing view. Ken was very hospitable, he came over when we arrived to make sure we knew how to drive the boat and brought us over some extra board games. Overall, we had a really nice stay. The Canadian wildfire smoke did put a damper on our last few days but we'd definitely return!

Perfect!!!

This was a perfect place to stay for our annual family reunion trip! Cute, well stocked, clean and spacious. Beautifully outdoor space right on the lake! Hoping to return next year!

This place was fantastic! Clean, well maintained, comfortable, and all of the consumables were provided. The owners were responsive, friendly, and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Very nice little lake, and the pontoon boat made it very enjoyable. Thanks so much for helping make our vacation enjoyable!

Staying here was heavenly…Ken was so welcoming and gracious. The house was totally comfortable, super clean, beautifully decorated, and offered every amenity and thoughtful detail. This peaceful, quiet small lake is a perfect place for quiet relaxation, a little slice of heaven! Thank you, Ken!

Beautiful lakefront property. We enjoyed the pontoon boat, kayaks, fishing, and swimming. Explored the area, Ausable River and East Tawas. Pizza from Mikeys and breakfast at Big Bob's also get a 5 star. Ken was quick to respond to questions and provide us with anything needed to make our stay most enjoyable, Thank you!

Gorgeous lake front cottage!

Stayed and did some hiking on the Au Sable and for a get weekend getaway.Such a cozy cabin! A beautiful view of the lake from the living room. House was super modern and convenient. Beds were very comfortable and host was very accommodating and kind. Highly recommend this place! 0 complaints!Definitely making annual trips to this cabin!

This was the perfect vacation rental for my family and myself.Very clean lake house, spectacular view,and a wonderful host.Sun, sand, kayaking, bonfires and so relaxing.Available grill ......we used often.Ken is a perfect host. Answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Such a nice cabin! The owner, Ken, was excellent! He made sure we had everything we needed for our week stay. The cabin was very clean. The lake was great for fishing. There isn't anything that could've made the experience better. West Branch was not very far away for any needed shopping. The lake wasn't overcrowded. There were plenty of other lakes in the area for fishing as well. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

Our Family has been on this Awesome Lake for over 30 Years. A few years ago we bought the little cottage next door and completely remodeled it. We took it down to the studs and installed all new flooring, windows, roof, siding and heating and cooling. We have been using this place for Family and friends overflow. I recently retired and we have decided to open our little place up for rental on a limited basis.
We love to boat, fish, watersports, volleyball etc. Along with sitting and relaxing and watching the Eagles, Osprey and Loons on one of the best kept secrets in Northern MI (South Dease Lake).

Why they chose this property

South Dease Lake is 1 of only a few Private Lakes in the Hale area which boasts over 65 Lakes. Which means it is often quiet and peaceful and often times during the week we are the only boat out on the Lake. South Dease Lake is an All Sports and is great for fishing, boating (tubing, water skiing, wake boarding etc). We Love this Lake and the area. It is rural and quiet and the town of Hale is less than a 10-minute drive away and has pretty much everything you need (Grocery, hardware, gas/ice)

What makes this property unique

We are one of the few properties on the Lake without steps down to the water. We also are one of the few places with a nice sandy beach into the water (no seawall) for sitting and relaxing or playing corn hole, volleyball etc.
