Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Sand Pointe property is just steps away from the beautiful beach on Sanibel Island where you can enjoy shelling and watching dolphins and birds. You can see the water meet the horizon from the master bedroom and the main living area. We visited the local farmers market and returned to enjoy our lunch on the spacious veranda. The full kitchen is convenient to make breakfast or beach snacks but many good restaurants are one to two miles away and riding a bike from the property is our preferable way to get around the island. The beds are very comfortable and the decor and furniture were lovely. We woke up to birds and wildlife in the lagoon just outside of the building. We have been here many times and plan to return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and view were PERFECT! And that’s why we chose it. All the cons are overshadowed by that. Pros- Very clean, everything was brand new, because of construction there were not many people there. Most of the time we felt like we had the beach mostly to ourselves. Nice decor and bedding. Management was friendly. It came with lightweight beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys. Better shelling than lighthouse beach and north Captiva (the only others we visited) Cons- they were doing construction on the unit right next to ours. Literally hammering on the same wall as my headboard at 7:30 am. It was annoying but only one worker was there the whole week and he could only make so much noise by himself. The pool was still under construction which we expected. There is no garbage disposal and no spraying hose for the kitchen sink, which made it inconvenient to do dishes and the trash smelled quickly, because we had to dump food in it. We stayed a week and had to buy toilet paper, laundry soap, and trash bags because the unit only comes with enough for a few days. The units shampoo and conditioner was very heavy (moisturizing. My hair looked awful all week. I should have brought my own. All in all the pros greatly outweighed the cons and some of the cons are temporary because of construction. We would definitely stay there again.

We can't say enough about our stay at this beautiful home! The private community offers so many amenities and the neighbors are very kind, helpful and friendly. The house was completely stocked with everything we could've wanted/needed. The pools and private beach area where heavenly! We can't wait to return to this slice of heaven next year. So happy that Sanibel Island is building back!

We enjoyed our month in the garden that is Gulf Pines, with its lagoons, plantings, and wildlife. Pool was convenient and NICE and warm, we had the beach almost to ourselves some days. Owner was very responsive to queries and concerns. Spiral staircase was a challenge to navigate with luggage and vintage knees. Kitchen was bright and beautiful.

Enjoyed our time at this property. Right on the beach and all the amenities we could want.

The property is very nice- the pool area and hot tubs are nice and clean- very pretty landscaping. The location on the beach is terrific. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked . We had a great stay!

We loved it! Clean, remodeled, well equipped, great location and great view! Highly recommended. The storage shed with beach equipment was a huge plus. Just needed our swimsuits, beach towels and sunscreen.
