Our beautifully decorated 2 bedroom condo unit sleeps 6 people comfortably. It is located in Reserva Conchal, near Liberia in the lush Guanacaste Region of Costa Rica. The condo offers an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean, Catalina Islands and the Robert Trent Jones golf course. Ecotourism at its finest! Volcanoes, rainforests, bird watching and zip lines! This is a great place to learn Spanish for the entire family. (An excellent multi-lingual school for children and adults minutes away.)

Golf:
Enjoy the thrill and convenience of world-class golf at the Reserva Conchal Golf Club aptly named “Garra de Leon.” Designed in the classic tradition of the game by Robert Trent Jones II. Each nine meanders through the rolling terrain with breathtaking ocean views. This 71-par championship course provides players with both a challenging and an extraordinary eco-golf experience. Lakes and ravines accentuate the course and put a premium on tee shots and accurate approach shots to large, manicured Bermuda-grass greens.

Beach Club:
Full access to the unique and exclusive Reserva Conchal Club and Spa is included. Designed by Costa Rican renowned architect Antonio Cardona, of San José, this roomy 60,000 ft2 club is undoubtedly the resort’s hub of activity, a central gathering place for dining and relaxing, exercising and tanning, socializing and entertaining. A contemporary Swimming Pavilion of a 200 feet (60 meter) pool connects the restaurant and spa section of the facility. A variety of beach activities are offered, including kayaks, jet skis, kite and windsurfing, sailing, pedal boats and wakeboarding. Scuba and snorkeling trips, fishing excursions and canopy tours can also be arranged here, and the concierge is always happy to accommodate special requests from members and guests. A professionally staffed and fully equipped medical center is also located within the Club. The club is a 10 minute walk or two minute drive/ free shuttle ride.

Family and Entertainment:
The spacious living room boasts nice ceilings and grand French doors leading out to an open balcony with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, Catalina Islands, and the 11th green. Here you can catch some of the world’s most amazing sunsets. (Our photos can’t do them justice!) Family board games, books, and flat screen televisions with DVD player are available for your use. Hire a local chef to prepare your meals! Better yet, have him cook your fresh catch of the day where the fishing is outstanding in the Flamingo and Tamarindo areas. If you want local fare, try the nearby towns of Brassilito and Protrero for typical Tico fare. You can always enjoy the many restaurants located in the area as well. There are wonderful beach activities as well as cultural tours, wildlife watching and surfing for all ages. There is a top notch Spanish language school in Flamingo!

Our Story:

We are a family of 5 who love to travel! We are interested in snow skiing, beach combing and learning about the local culture of the places we visit.
We are international business owners with 3 young children. We live in the southeastern US and enjoy traveling to Europe, Central/South America, China as well as Australia.
We found this beautiful oasis in Reserva Conchal a few years back when we were looking for a clean safe place for our family to learn Spanish.
The setting of a home located in a private beach community overlooking a golf course on the ocean with the backdrop of luscious green mountains was irresistible. A gorgeous safe gated community!
These sunsets are unlike any other place on Earth.
We knew this was where we wanted to spend our time.
