About the host
Hosted by Michael Johnson
Hi there! I was born in the ’80s and work in Vascular Intervention, but when I’m not in the hospital, you’ll almost always find me outside chasing fresh air and a good view. I’m a pilot, a kayaker, a skydiver, a rock climber, and a mountain biker—basically, if it involves nature, altitude, or gravity testing my decisions, I’m in.
Because my job keeps me traveling, I open my primary home to guests while I’m away. It’s my peaceful retreat—a quiet spot to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the simple things like a calm morning or a stress-free evening. I love sharing that sense of comfort and relaxation with travelers looking for a place that feels like a breath of fresh air.
I know pets are beloved family members, but I’m unfortunately extremely allergic—so for everyone’s sake (including my sinuses), my home is pet-free.
If I ever wrote my biography, it would be titled The Man That Ran in All Directions—a fair description of someone who flies planes, scales rocks, rides trails, and somehow still manages a career in medicine.
I hope my home gives you the same restful pause it gives me between adventures.

Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because it has the perfect balance of peace, convenience, and comfort. It’s a quiet area where you can unwind, yet still close enough to everything you need—stores, dining, concerts and easy access to the outdoors. What I enjoy most is the calm atmosphere: friendly neighbors, quiet evenings, and the feeling of coming home to a relaxing, safe space after a long day.
What makes this property unique
What makes my property unique? Simple: it’s a real home lived in by a real human who travels in all directions. This isn’t a cookie-cutter rental—it’s the place I look forward to coming back to after long work trips, wild outdoor adventures, and questionable skydiving decisions. Guests love how comfortable, quiet, and well cared for it is. It’s the kind of home that instantly puts you at ease and makes you think, “Yep, I could stay here awhile.”
