Pool / Spa
Not too bad, but room for improvement.
This property was not bad. It is WAYsmaller than the pictures look. First, the sofa is not a pull out as was thought. They list it as a sleeping option for the total, but in reality it is just a sectional couch. It sleeps 7. 8 with a fold up cot. Be prepared. The original cot was broken when we tried to use it. The owner did replace it with another the next day. I was not disappointed, but for the price I expected more to be honest. The toaster only toasted one side of the bread. The windows were dirty and the vanity top in the one bathroom was loose from the vanity bottom. Just little things like that. Not knocking it. It is in a great location and has a nice pool and tennis court. The only issue with the pool is that it is only open from 10-6pm. Not a lot of time to enjoy the beach and then use the pool in the evening. Internet and cable tv worked well. Air conditioning worked great as well. The property has 2 elevators but the one was out of service during my stay. No big deal though. Parking is terrific. Didn’t have to search for a spot at all when I returned to the property. I am on the fence if I would rent this unit again to be honest. It was a lot for the size of the unit in retrospect.
The location was good; however, no internet.
While we have no major issues with the place itself, We needed internet acces to work remotely and we’re unable to do so. It appears to have been mostly a communication issue between long and foster and the owner as I was given approximately ten different passwords over the course of our stay- none of which were correct. Eventually, I was told internet is simply not guaranteed. The customer service alone is responsible for the rating.
