About Stacia Lawrence
We currently live in Pompano Beach, Florida. We make several trips a year back to Somerset to enjoy the home and the lake. We only own this one property and we are not a real estate company so if you have any additional questions please feel free to email or call.
Stacia Lawrence purchased this House in 2003
Why Stacia Lawrence chose Somerset
The house is very open and a great environment for small or large family gatherings. The open floor plan makes it easy for everyone to socialize and experience each other while cooking, playing games, and sitting on the decks. If you just want some time alone, each bedroom is equipped with a television so you can close the door and have quiet time. Our family lived in the house until our children went away to college and we feel that the home should now be enjoyed by others and not be empty. Some of the best times of our lives were in this home!!
What makes this House unique
The view of the lake is wonderful. You can see down both sides of the lake from the upper deck along with viewing the boats, skiing, wakeboarding, and other water activities.

Everything as advertised
This was a great rental in the Cumberland area. The house was clean, kitchen well equipped, and we enjoyed the grill and deck. It was our first time here so we aren't experts, but it seemed to be well located with access to multiple marinas. The owner was very responsive to issues and questions. We would have no hesitations about staying here again.
First off, I didn't give a 5-star on cleanliness, but I want to STRESS that the main level and upstairs bedrooms and all the bathrooms were VERY CLEAN....and smelled good and all of the kitchen/cookware and dishes/silverware and utensils/laundry room was great! But, the kitchen/storage closets in the mother-in-law suite needed some TLC, as did the deck table/chairs. However, all of the positives far outweighed that. So much Kitchen supplies! I really wouldn't have had to bring anything to cook with or silverware or knives. Well-stocked! Plenty of towels and washcloths and even extra sheets and blankets for the other sleeping arrangements. Never did see the waterfall =( but was really too busy to look for it. It worked great for our family gathering to celebrate mom's 80th b-day and to get to cruise at the Somernites Car Show.
A wonderful stay
We are a group of Security Officers that wanted to relax for the weekend, This was our first time doing something like this. Well our first night, we couldn't sleep. The view of the night sky was great. Most of that night was spent talking about...well, everything. The peace and quiet were great. Next time, I think that we'll stay a bit longer and explore the lake
Hostess very accommodating. Bedroom set up was great. Lower master was great for us (the grandparents). Everyone asking to go back.
Located on beautiful Lake Cumberland. The lake offers many activities such as boating, skiing, tubing, and swimming. Enjoy a journey back in time to the Civil War while visiting Mill Springs Battlefield and National Cemetery. Late spring to early fall visit the Mill Springs Grist Mill located only 18 miles away providing a perfect place for a relaxing day to enjoy a picnic while checking out the mill and enjoying a beautiful walk. Cumberland Falls is a short drive away and well worth the trip!
Take a 2 hour drive and spend the day at Mammoth Cave or the Kentucky Horse Park. Extend your drive to 3 hours and experience Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge or take in Dollywood.
