Traveler's Retreat: Your Refuge In the Old Town

Traveler's Retreat is a quiet cottage on a beautiful neighborhood street in Historic Savannah. Just a few minutes walk from Forsyth Park, this Beach Institute gem is a refuge from the rush and the throngs of the downtown. Set back amongst the squares and side streets of Old Savannah, with its lush, private courtyard and cool, diffused light, our hope is that you will find that the Retreat is the perfect place to recharge after a long day of salt and sun on Tybee, or seeing the sights in downtown.

The master bedroom has a custom made king bed, and en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the main bathroom has a clawfoot tub and shower. The kitchen is newly updated, with an electric range, oven, and microwave, and all the amenities you will need to make yourself at home. The couch in the living room folds out to comfortably sleep two more, and there is a dining room off of the kitchen that seats six.

Washer/dryer, television, linens, towels, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner are provided. And if you are bringing equipment like kayaks, bikes, or items for the beach, we have a separate storage building on the property to keep your belonging secure without bringing the great outdoors inside with you.

Traveler's Retreat is your private residence in Savannah, and it's good for couples, families with kids, and groups of friends.
