Location Note

One of the things many guests appreciate most about this property is its convenient location. The home is situated in town near Routes 322 and 522, making it easy to reach local destinations and regional attractions.

Because of this central location, guests may hear traffic and road noise at times, particularly during busier travel periods. We want all guests to have accurate expectations before booking. Located on the corner of a VERY bust street. Heard every single car that went by. The house had a strange smell in the main living area…like stale cigars? Otherwise the house was clean and beds were comfortable!! It suited our purpose.

It took over an hour to respond to questions while at the stay. Couch is clean but very uncomfortable ( cheap couch). Queen bed wore out sleeping in a divot. Not a big enough skillet to put a peice of bacon in it. Not much to do in the area left early. First Vrbo I did not like

For the benefit of future guests, we'd like to note that a request was made to cancel the reservation approximately three hours before check in on a holiday weekend. While we understand that plans can change unexpectedly, last minute cancellations are especially difficult to accommodate during peak travel periods. We honored the reservation and provided the property as advertised. Regarding the furnishings, guest comfort is important to us. While we recognize that comfort is subjective and personal preferences vary, many of our previous guests have complimented the comfort of the bed and living room furnishings. We strive to provide a clean, accurately represented property and responsive service for all of our guests, as reflected in the feedback from many of our previous visitors.

The house was clean and had just about everything you need for an extended stay. I was only there in the evenings but it was warm and inviting when I returned from the Deer woods every day. Having the whole house and appliances was great but if you need to prep any meals, you will need to bring a sharp knife for chopping and slicing meats or vegetables. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and the second bedroom has a bunk bed that I didn't use. The basement room off of the laundry room was a good staging area for my hunting equipment and the proximity to the laundry area was very convenient. The room isn't completely finished but was operational. The living area upstairs is comfortable to watch tv or listen to music while you cook and eat i the eat in kitchen. White towels, wash cloths and plenty of paper products were provided for use. Be aware of the proximity to route 322. The truckers seem forget to turn off their Jake brakes after coming off the mountain and they will remind you that the trucking industry is alive and well in central Pa. while you are trying to sleep. Joyce, was very helpful to provide a BBQ Grill and sourced utensils for the grill after I arrived. The igniter didn't work and I had to do a deep cleaning before I could use it, but overall it was good to be able to BBQ. WIFI worked great and the Smart TV was loaded with numerous applications for your use. Overall very nice! and would rent the house again.
