Wonderful lake area located just off Rte 430 and 1 mile from I-86. TourChautauqua.com is a great site for events all year long!
Get ready to relax in this 3-bedroom, 2 full baths house directly on the lake. This is a peaceful, tranquil area that captures the beautiful sunrise and sunset. This freshly remodeled property features 2 queen beds, 1 queen sized bunk bed, and 2 twin beds, perfect for families or groups of friends up to 10 people. The 2 bathrooms come equipped with showers and all linens.
With amenities like WiFi, full kitchen with brand new appliances, under counter built in ice maker, beverage fridge, firepit, grill and a washing machine/ dryer combo, guests can enjoy a comfortable stay.
We are located in Bemus Point CSD and 2 minutes from the popular Steener's Pub and The House that Jack Built. Tops, Dollar General, and local gas stations are all within 3 minutes. We are directly across the lake from Lakewood where you will find Wegmans, Target, TJ Maxx, Panera, Olive Garden (the list goes on.....)! Lakewood and its multiple shops and quaint town are a two turn drive and takes less than 20 minutes.
Relaxing on either level of the two story porch, the dock, or the front yard, you have direct views of the beautiful Chautauqua Harbor Hotel and Celeron. Summertime breezes carry live music and fireworks displays are common during warmer months. The Chautauqua Institution is a short drive utilizing the bridge at Bemus Point, or better yet bring bikes and take the Bemus-Stow Ferry. By car, it is only a 16 minute drive! Additionally, there is a scenic Riverwalk Bike Trail that connects to the far reaches of Jamestown that is only a 1/4 mile away. Be sure to check out the Comedy Center as well.
There is a ramp for boat and jetski launching 8 houses down the street. We do not supply equipment to dock boats at the house. Please inquire in advance if you plan on bringing watercraft. The dock is removed in mid October. 4 kayaks are available upon request with signed waiver.

There are outside cameras for protection for ourselves and our guests. COOLERS WITH ICE are not allowed in the house. Please keep them outside in a shady area. Any leak that leads to water issues and or damage will incur a damage fee.

GORGEOUS property! Very quiet! Lovely neighbors. I cannot speak highly enough of the time there at this property...husbands fished, wives enjoyed the house and the VIEWS! Very peaceful location and for July I expected all kinds of crazy boat traffic but not at all - very very quiet and so nice if you need some down time away to just relax. Highly recommend.

Views and access to the lake are awesome. Kayaks are available for use at no additional charge. House was clean, and had most cooking utensils available for use. Houses are close together but neighbors were very friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience!!

We were very happy with the rental. It looked just like the photos, very clean, cute decor, and it was all updated. We had a larger party, and the ONLY two things we felt would make the stay better would be another TV in one of the bedrooms and more seating in the living room (maybe a sectional couch - LOVED the leather chairs - so comfy). The best part was having access to the kayaks. They were enjoyed by all!

We spent a long weekend at this VRBO and we brought or boat with us.It was a perfect weekend filled with boating, cornhole, kayaking and campfires!The host had far more supplies than other VRBO’s we have stayed in including firewood, seasonings and a well stocked kitchen.I would highly recommend this VRBO.*** Note to those bringing a boat - it is fairly shallow near the dock. We raised our prop when docking for safety. One recommendation I would make is add cleats to tie off for easier docking

Wonderful stay! Highly recommend this house. It was immaculate, well stocked, and we really appreciated the extra touches like the lit Christmas tree when we arrived. We had an amazing weekend away with our friends. Beautiful lake front view and great location. The host was very responsive and welcoming and we hope to return soon!

The lakefront cottage was wonderful. Clean, well stocked and convenient to locations up and down the lake. It was a great home base for my brothers and our families as we visited family throughout the area. Next time we’ll take the kayaks out!

We had a great stay; Nicole was super responsive. My children were so excited for the bunk room and it met all the needs of my family. Both my parents and children stayed with my husband and I. We would definitely return. Quick drive to all things around the lake and love the fully stocked fire pit every night for s’mores.

It was a wonderful weekend at the lake! Fall colors were at their peak and a nice crisp in the air. The fire pit outside was enjoyed as was the one inside when we cozied up inside to watch football! House was clean and had everything we would need! Extra towels were left per request and the kayaks were a huge hit! There was even a wedding at the nearby hotel and a bonus firework show!

We had a wonderful time on Lake Chautauqua. The home was very clean with lots of amenities. We enjoyed watching movies at night and making smores. The fireplace helped to take the chill off at night. Overall it was a great experience. Everything we needed was right there.

Great stay. Completely updated. Clean well equipped. 4 kayaks are on site which my family loved. Fire pit was nice wood was provided. Plenty of dock space for water craft. Fish galore bring a pole. Our stay was for 4 nights.

The house was super cute and clean. The bedroom air conditioners were great. Firewood was provided, which was nice. The flower pots were nice touch. The kayaks were fun. Fishing is great. Host/hostess were attentive. Swimming conditions aren't ideal.
