MAX OCCUPANCY IS 8 ADULTS (WE ALLOW 10 GUESTS IF CHILDREN ARE INCLUDED BUT THE ADULT MAXIMUM IS 8). **Summer Rentals beginning/ending Saturday and/or Sunday of a given week.

This lake view house is located on a private lane just minutes from I-86 and within walking distance of the Village of Bemus Point. The spacious lot and open-concept home is perfect for a summer family vacation, a long weekend with your spouse, or a ski weekend with friends! The house boasts 4 spacious bedrooms with beds for 8 and a maximum guest count of 10 (max 8 adults at all times - strictly enforced).

This will truly be your home away from home with all linens, towels, and toiletries provided and a fully equipped kitchen. You won't need to bring anything extra! We also have many infant and toddler friendly amenities including baby gates, a pack and play, bed railing for toddlers (upon request), toys, a high chair, utensils and more!

The property offers a private dock, so bring your boat for a memorable weekend on the famous Lake Chautauqua or rent Kayaks or paddle boards from local vendors. There is a small canal across the path where you can feed our favorite ducks!

The house includes streaming TV, Wi-Fi and a gas fireplace. Enjoy the new large porch with views of the lake, a yard for lawn games and an outdoor patio complete with gas grille, smokeless fire pit and outdoor patio furniture.

And while summer is a great time to visit - don't let the winter weather of Western NY keep you away! Ellicottville and Holiday Valley Ski/Golf Resort and Peek n' Peak Ski/Golf Resort are just 45 minutes away in either direction. Chautauqua Lake is a popular location for ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing.

No matter what time of year you choose to visit, you'll fall in love with the quaint village of Bemus Point, the Chautauqua Lake Region, and hopefully you'll make a stay at this property an annual tradition for you and your loved ones!

This house was perfect for our group of three couples. House was very clean, spacious and well-stocked for making meals. It was walking distance to the town of Bemus Point and only about a 10-minute drive into Jamestown. Hosts communicated well and responded to questions in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again if in the area and would absolutely recommend this home.

Would love to come back. The house was clean, spacious and well supplied. The fireplace was a cozy plus. The three bathrooms were perfect for 7 woman. Only a short walk to a gas station, store, coffee place and many other quaint stores.

Fishing getaway

The house was so comfortable for the 5 of us. The kitchen has everything you need, 3 full baths meant no one had to wait. We loved playing Monopoly next to the fire in the evening.

Wonderful stay with three generations of family

This home provided a comfortable, well-appointed place for us to use as our base for our lake vacation with our extended family. We liked that it’s within walking distance of downtown Bemus Point, has a roomy deck in the back, 3 full baths, a great bedroom for the grands and an open kitchen and common area to gather.

Loved our stay!

We loved our stay here! It had absolutely everything you could want. It was extremely clean, beds were pretty comfortable. We have a one year old and it was a plus to have the pack n play/crib option as well as many toys to keep him happy. We would recommend this stay to anyone and everyone!

Wonderful Home

Spacious, well kept home. Perfect for 3 couples and 2 grown children. Great layout for everyone to have space and enjoy the Chatauqua area. Very clean and well appointed. Would return without hesitation when back in Bemus Point.

Great place to stay

This property is a great place to stay, close walking distance to town. Everything was as expected, very clean and neat. The house is very spacious, with plenty of amenities. I would recommend staying here. The road is in need of repair, but we were told in advance, so we weren't surprised.

Awesome property!

Wonderful stay at this property. It is super clean, organized, beds are comfy and decor is lovely. They have thought of every detail for a comfortable stay. Easy dock access and a short walk to the quaint lake town of Bemus. The air conditioners kept the house very cool and comfortable. The deck area is so awesome for visiting! Beautiful! We will surely be back!

Great Spot to Vacation at Chautauqua

Overall very happy with the property. It had everything we needed and then some. For the most part the property was clean but to be honest would prefer if it was a little cleaner. Felt like it could have been vacuumed a little more and just kept up a little bit better.

I have never stayed at a home that was so well-equipped! Multiple sets of plates and cups, measuring spoons, measuring cups. Multiple sets of cookware. Nice assortment of spices. Two coffee makers. Seriously!

Perfect Ski Weekend

Perfect for a group weekend getaway. Came with family and friends for a ski trip to Holiday Valley. Great location in the heart of Bemus Point and only an hour to the slopes. The home had everything you could imagine, appropriately labeled as well. It felt spacious even with a group of 8 adults. We couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation for our stay. Only regret is we didn’t stay longer! Thank you!

Friends weekend away

We had three couples and we were celebrating a milestone birthday. The house was perfect. We each had our own bed and bath. The house was so well equipped with anything or everything you could want or need. Beautiful sunsets down at the dock. Went to fall festival and visited Johnson winery. Location was perfect and easy access. Would definitely rent again. Thanks to Sarah for being so accommodating

Very clean and comfortable

My family enjoyed our vacation in this home. We were nervous about booking it, but so glad we did. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. We never had a bad meal in Bemus Point. Everything was perfect. The pictures and descriptions were spot on. We were so pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked and how clean the home was. We would definitely stay there again. The owners answered questions ASAP, which was very helpful. We would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful

We had a wonderful experience. The owners were very accommodating for our needs. The house was beautiful with all we needed for 9 people to sleep comfortably, cook meals as all utensils, pans, etc were provided. We skiied at Long Point State Park, Peakin Peak, sledded on a nearby hill, and made a snowman . Description of house was very accurate. We highly recommend this.

Nice home for gathering

8 women (approaching 70!) enjoyed the home for a long weekend. Great location. We walked to town, down the lane to see the lake, and drove around the lake. Shopping and lunching was successful! The home was clean and well stocked. The frig and stove worked very well for our cooking and sharing of meals. The beds were comfortable and the number of bathrooms was perfect for our group. The binder with ideas and instructions was helpful. Thanks for sharing the house with us!

Great week

My family really enjoyed our stay in Bemus Point. The host thought of just about everything. Our little ones especially enjoyed the great selection of toys. Was a nice walk to a small but very nice little town with some good shops and restaurants and great lake views. The playground in town was a nice bonus. We loved the Wegman's nearby and Midway Park offered a lot for our 2 year old. It also had a very nice mini golf. My daughter and I loved walking through Chat. Institute. Didn't make it to any beaches since it was a cool week. A great week overall!

This home was purchased in 2015 by former Jamestown, NY residents Dana & Lynda and their daughter and son-in-law Sara and Patrick (and their 2 children Bellamy and Bowen), who reside in Pittsburgh, PA. Dana and Lynda raised their children in Jamestown, NY and had been a part of the community for over 30 years. Dana and Lynda are retired and love to travel. Their children are grown and have moved to Pittsburgh and Erie. Despite moving away from the area, the entire family has always had an interest in owning a home on Chautauqua Lake so that they have a place to come back to in the region. With busy schedules and growing families their immediate personal use of the property will be limited. Not wanting the beautiful property to go unused, they are excited to rent the property so that others can enjoy the region just as much as they have over the years.

Why they chose this property

From years of experience, we can say without a doubt, that Bemus Point is the best place to vacation on Chautauqua Lake. This property is within walking distance of the village of Bemus Point where you will find restaurants, nightlife, shopping and entertainment. It is directly across the street from the Bemus Point Golf Club and with lake access 300' away on private lane and a private dock space, it's a great place to enjoy outdoor activities! If you are looking to get away for a ski weekend or to do some ice-fishing, this property location is perfect for both. It's a short drive to both Peek n' Peak and Holiday Valley resort for skiing and golf and Chautauqua Lake is known for its ice fishing and snowmobiling.

What makes this property unique

The property itself is just the right size for an adult weekend getaway with friends or a family vacation during any season. We enjoy the property for its proximity to fantastic restaurants, fun nightlife, the beautiful Chautauqua Lake, and its closeness to the ski resorts of Western NY and Pennsylvania. The home itself is perfect for gathering both indoors and outdoors. There is an open concept layout inside and plenty of green space outside. You'll find a grocery store down the street for making home-cooked meals or grilling out (or a sweet ice cream treat!). But the owners will be sure to supply you with a complete list of restaurants, amenities and all the wonderful things the Chautauqua Lake region has to offer upon arrival! You will not be disappointed with your choice to spend a week, a weekend or just a quick few days in Bemus Point, NY!
