Cozy and close to downtown Mount Dora.
We enjoyed staying in John’s charming little home and enjoyed exploring Mount Dora.
A Delightful Surprise!
We made a last minute reservation for an arts and crafts festival weekend... we were not having much luck until my daughter suggested we check out VRBO and we tripped into this wonderful surprise! Dickerman Cottage was way more than we expected, think Chip and Joanna Gaines Fixer Upper delight! The interior of this little place had so much charm. Everywhere we looked there was some other little detail to experience. Absolutely loved every minute of our experience there and can't think of anything we could suggest to make the placer better. We definitely plan on returning.
A wonderful spring break!
We loved our stay at the Dickerman Cottage. There are so many wonderful things to do in Mount Dora. The cottage is in the perfect location and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Thank you to John who allowed our 2 dogs and our 18 year old cat to stay at the cottage.
Thank you, Brent, Jenny and Heather
Cozy and convenient
Small, cozy, and comfortable within walking distance of downtown Mt. Dora. John has furnished the cottage in a seaside motif and kept it in tip-top shape.
Comfortable, Peaceful, Charming
Cottage was a "home" away from home. Decor was spotless and charming with art pieces tastefully used to decorate. We loved how comfortable living area was after a day spent walking to town eating and shopping or riding our bikes. The backyard sitting area came equipped with a grill for making dinner or to just be a place for a peaceful sit. Kitchen was well stocked, bathroom and bedroom did not scrim with linens. Having the art festival fall on the weekend of our stay was just icing on the cake! Great town to visit and lovely place to stay while doing so.
This is a delightful cottage in the heart of the Historic District. The cottage is cute, comfortable and very well equipped. The owner was very attentive to our needs and even checked with us to be sure we were comfortable during a cold spell. The location was perfect for walking to everything downtown.
