Very clean, cozy and spacious place. The location was excellent to where we were going. The area is very friendly and active and it is a cool vibe. I would definitely like to stay there again.
Spacious, clean, and great location. We stayed just one night but loved the comfortable beds, newly remodeled bathrooms, and coffee shop right next door. Check-in and check-out were easy with clear instructions and we were able to find parking a block away.
Loved our stay. Location was awesome. Christine was excellent at communicating and quickly responding. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Was perfect for our group of 3 ladies. Will definitely be booking again next time I’m in Chicago! Thank you so much for hosting us.
The apartment was very nice. Everything was just as advertised. Parking was the only drawback. My husband dropped us off with our luggage and parked several blocks away.
Clean and spacious, nicely renovated, nice area. Great communication from host! Provided box fans were appreciated. Good place for our group of 5, plenty of seating areas. Would be a great place if you don't have a car to park. Parking can be challenging, which host advised us about, but we found one spot in free on-street a few blocks away near a church.Lots of stairs to apartment, nothing compared to all the steps we got in exploring Chicago! Just something to note if you have issues climbing stairs.
Great location and nice accommodations. Host was responsive and helpful. The property was clean and tidy (with one exception) and well-furnished. The area is wonderful with lots of cafes and restaurants right outside. And public transit is easily accessible. Just a couple of small issues: Roku remote was broken before arrival, missing the center button needed for making selections. We MacGuyver'd the remote with a small piece of foil to use it, but the Roku app will also work. And the carpet in the bedrooms could probably use a cleaning. Finally, the Wi-Fi was not working upon arrival. Some family members were working remotely and needed to go elsewhere to log in. After a few resets and unplugging/re-plugging the router, it started to work, but it was still on the slow side. Aside from these minor things, it was a good stay and would recommend if you're looking for clean, safe, and affordable accommodations, in a nice area, with easy access to Blue line and bus lines to get to different areas of Chicago.
The apartment was great! We spent five days living like true Chicagoans. We walked to the Belmont Train Station and rode public transportation all over Chicago. The apartment matched the listing exactly. There is a lot of light and city noise as should be expected in a city neighborhood, but ear plugs and box fans are included in the rental. I would definitely stay here again! The only item of note is the property management service was slow on the tenant vetting process. I was contacted the day before we were to check-in and was asked what profession I am in. I was then asked to provide a link to my LinkedIn profile. The request for this information is a little unusual and definitely lacked convenient timing, as we were already traveling to Chicago. Other than the late vetting process, my family and I enjoyed our stay immensely!
The host was very responsive and gave good instructions, complete with photos on how to get the keys from the lock box! This property was perfect for a 3-person girls trip. We each had our own room and two bathrooms to share. It is also in a great neighborhood that was close to everything we wanted to do. The temperature varied wildly within the apartment, but that gave us some options based on how warm we like our respective bedrooms! There were also box fans in the apartment, which was great.

Thank you for the great review! I’m glad the check-in instructions were helpful and that the apartment worked well for your group. Thanks for the note about the temperature—I’ll keep that in mind for future guests. Hope to host you again!
As mentioned in another review, the temperature varies widely throughout the apartment. While the bedroom closest to the kitchen was verging on chilly, the room at the front of the building was too hot to sleep in. Be aware that the listing is incorrect with how it describes what credentials will be required at check-in. The property manager uses a third party app called Guesty, and wants to collect an unnecessary amount of personal information. Other than those two issues, the space was large, clean, and met our needs. There are two or three nice bakeries and coffee shops within a two minute walk.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad to hear you found the space large, clean, and conveniently located near bakeries and coffee shops.
I’m sorry for the temperature variations between rooms — this can happen in older buildings, but we’ll continue looking for ways to make it more consistent. Regarding check-in, we use the Guesty platform to securely provide access and ensure guest safety. We understand it can feel like extra steps, but it helps protect both guests and the property.
We appreciate your comments, as they help us improve the experience for future guests, and we’re glad the space met your needs overall.
Home was nice and great location. Not much in the way of kitchen utensils. However we rented another house with our group and used that location for gathering, so it worked out fine. Being new to VRBO we had a few learning curves to get checked in. I understand a lot of guest do not take care of homes they rent, as a result, we didn't feel really welcomed. I hope our stay improved the owners outlook on guest and their intentions. If you are looking for a great location and a place to rest well, this is the place for you. Large gatherings even for a short while are discouraged. We had a total of 19 family members, 4 living in Logan and 6 stayed here, leaving the remaining 9 at another home near by. This home worked for sleeping. Very quiet. The other house we gathered at gave us "ideal" rating. We strive to respect and care for the homes as if they are our own.
Great place to stay and great host. Great communication and place was very nice. Close to some great bars/restaurants. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
