Spring is on the doorstep of the River House Retreat and March and April are great times to enjoy everything that this property has to offer. The Pool opens the first week of April and although water temperatures are chilly you can still enjoy lounging around on sunny days, soak up some sun, play all the outdoor games and take advantage of the amenities the retreat offers. Kayaks, Canoe, paddle boards, Bucket golf, and many other lawn games to keep you entertained while cooking in the outdoor kitchen and hanging around the firepit. Come shake of the winter blues and get your summer jumpstart with a stay at your mini private resort. You must experience this perfect retreat property during the Spring and Summer months. Wake up to beautiful vistas just outside your window, where the natural beauty of the Bird River and its abundant wildlife sets the stage for every day. Ample sunlight fills the living spaces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. Inside, you can relax in cool comfort in the living area with full glass windows across to enjoy the water views or watch your favorite show/movie on the large screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for enjoying some great meals. Dining room and 1/2 bath also located downstairs. Upstairs features 2 bedrooms one with a king and the other a queen bed, 1 large bathroom with walk-in shower and separate tub. All bed linens and bath towels are included. The property has available for our rental guest’s use only an inground pool and plenty of pool floats. A kayak, canoe and 2 paddle boards to explore the river at your own pace. The outdoor kitchen is stocked with propane and charcoal for immediate grilling ,a large fire pit full of firewood for burning that serves as a centerpiece for gathering, roasting marshmallows, or simply soaking in the serene atmosphere. Whether you prefer relaxing indoors or embracing the outdoors, this rental offers the best of both worlds for a memorable getaway. Everything you need to enjoy your indoor and outdoor stay is included with amazing scenery. Reserve your stay at this fantastic property!! We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again. The house has everything you need and then some. This property lives up to it consistent 10 rating. Extra nice touches leaving snacks and smores ingredients. I want to come back to enjoy more of the outdoor activities, but we enjoyed relaxing and water the birds.

Host went above standards for making the home inviting from throw blankets, various indoor and outdoor cooking appliances, games and water fun to welcome basket items and muffins. We have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years. This place was something special!! Wonderful and friendly hosts (pet lab included :), exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. The combination of the pool and the bay made the stay so enjoyable and fun. Our hosts made it more special by having so many different extras- paddleboards, pool loungers, kayak, canoe, backyard games, etc- we needed to have stayed longer to enjoy it all ! Thank you Sheila!

Like being in a five star hotel

We only wished we had been able to stay longer. There are so many amenities that we didn't even get to. But the view of the water and the pool was more than enough for our 4th of July weekend. Everything is new about this rental and the decor is so warm and inviting. The owners spare no detail, right down to the super soft blankets that are conviently place everywhere. This place is truely a find!

I just wanted to say me and my friends had a great time. The host bought me cupcakes for my birthday. She made sure everything was just right for my stay and she was very responsive. House was very clean better than pictures. Everything was at my disposal and even if I didn’t have anything, she was willing to help will book again soon.

We had a great time at this beautiful property. It had all the outdoor amenities we could ask for (river view, pool, plenty of seating, fire pit, use of canoe/kayak and fishing poles). Three nights wasn’t enough to enjoy everything. It was so beautiful outside that we really neglected the very updated and clean interior. The location is secluded so you can enjoy your privacy, but most bars, restaurants, etc are within 15 minutes drive. I’d be remiss to not mention how thoughtful the owners were, having set up decorations as I’d mentioned it being our anniversary and also providing very nice snacks for our arrival. Nothing to complain about during our stay. Highly recommended!

New peaceful Haven!

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. The check in was super easy! She had a S’more pack ready to go, towels in the pool lounges, toothbrushes (lucky because we forgot ours…lol… The views of the River were beautiful and we were blessed to see an eagle the morning we left. The bed was so comfortable which is not something we can say often due to bad backs and hips (husband is disabled vet/Ranger). Our host, Sheila, was wonderful. She literally thought of EVERYTHING! So many things to do -we opted for pool time and peace… ;-)

In my 25 years of renting properties for my college girls weekend this has got to have been the best experience we have ever had. The hosts were simply amazing. From building fire pit for us each night of our stay to helping us get the grill going for one of our dinners they made us feel like we were at a resort, not just a rental property. The pool was amazing and the chairs were set up with towels each day so all we had to do was bring our book and beverage to enjoy it. The house was clean, beds comfortable, and little touches like snacks for when we arrived and a smores kit for the fireplace made this rental that much more special. I would not hesitate to rent this house again. The views, pool and river toys let you be as active or nonactive as you want to be. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and for ordering up such amazing weather while we were there!
