Pet friendly was a priority for us and it worked out fine from that respect. Is located on Maryland Ave which can be quite noisy and busy at times but nothing that was too difficult to get used to. Parking was relatively easy to navigate on the side street. Is definitely close to the Capitol building and many very good places to eat.
We had a great stay at this lovely DC row home! It was conveniently located close to RFK fields, downtown, and Georgetown—perfect for all the places we needed to be. The home had plenty of space for three adults and a child, and we really appreciated that everyone had their own bathroom. Being closer to central DC, there was a bit of city noise, but nothing that disrupted our stay. Ubers were always just a few minutes away. The host was responsive and check in was a breeze. It worked out great for us!
We stayed for just 2 nights and contemplated leaving after the first night. The condition of the home was deplorable. There was mold in all of the bathrooms, on the walls of the bedrooms along with dead insects in the kitchen and along all windowsills. The home smells damp and musty. Surfaces were covered in dust and hair which has been building up for months on end. Our kids would be covered in hair and dirt if they sat on the carpets to play a game. Dishes were stacked on top of dirty dishes in the cupboard covered in food. Extra linens were not provided. The outdoor areas were overgrown and we were unable to enjoy them. Overall it was a terrible stay other than the location, would not recommend.

Overall, I wouldn't say this place was luxurious as titled. It was pretty basic, but adequate. It was tidy, but not clean. There was mildew in the bathrooms and dog hair on our socks so some bleach would go a long way. It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms with our group, which was hard to find in D.C.The main bedroom had a nice mattress, the couch was really comfortable with a bed roll added. The 2nd bedroom mattress was squeaky and its pushed against the wall so the 2nd person has to crawl out to the bathroom, fyi. The futon is terrible.I found the location to be inconvenient. We tried the bus 1 street away 1x but did not like the bus stop. The bus was crowded, and smelled so we ended up ubering everywhere which cost us around 20 each ride, and suprisingly took us 20-30 minutes to get downtown considering it is just a few miles. My biggest complaint is the coffee situation. Every VRBO we have stayed at has had a K-cup machine so everyone in our group had brought our own K-cups only to find a Nespresso machine that not only takes special cups but machine specific cups. We had bought some while we were out, but they still didn't work. So, we were without coffee. My Dad made the trek every morning to Chick-fil-A every morning to get everyone a cup, which thankfully is 1 block away. Each side of the street is no parking certain days/times so pay attention. The host was very responsive and answered the phone when I called with a parking question.
