About this property

DIRECT WATERFRONT with awesome views and near Yale

Your West Haven adventure begins at this 3-bedroom unit with a fabulous view of the water right from the kitchen and deck. There is a queen bed in each bedroom and the 3rd has 1 full size bed. This charming property offers a tranquil escape for guests. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like AC, WiFi, and a washing machine and dryer in basement.
There are smart Tv's in living room and each bedroom for your enjoyment. You will also find games, playing cards, kids toys and books for the reader in the group. The bathroom has a tub with shower, heated /lighted mirror and heated toilet seat. The kitchen is fully stocked with new pots and pans, a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave and air fryer which are all aqua to keep with the ocean theme. A large granite island serves as a dining area also along with a small table and chairs for a quaint dinner. From the kitchen you have a fabulous view of the harbor. Walk out the french doors to your deck with a sectional sofa, gas fireplace for chilly nights and a dining area.
This unit is on the second floor of house so there are stairs. There are also stairs in yard that take you down to the water. NOTE: There is no beach out back. There are beautiful beaches just a ten minute walk down the street past the bird sanctuary and boardwalk. Boat ramp is 4 blocks away where you can put your boat, jet ski, kayak or paddleboard in the water and bring it around to back of house so you can enjoy it all day. Savin Rock Surf Shop is down near the beach where you can rent paddleboards, bikes, kayaks and beach equipment.
The West Haven train station is a 5 minute drive from house for a trip to NYC 2 hours one way and Boston 2 hours the other. The Bridgeport ferry which goes to Port Jefferson, NY is a 20 minute drive. Casinos and Mystic Aquarium 45 minutes north. There is also a barbeque grill in yard, a dining area and loungers for sunning.
House is close to restaurants and shopping. Downtown New Haven is a 5 minute drive to Yale and the famous Pepe's pizza, nightlife, and assorted restaurants and shops.

A quick overnight while exploring New Haven. It was rainy but we enjoyed the views and indoor accommodations. We had enough space for the 5 of us and the host had plenty of items in the kitchen for us to make a nice dinner.
