Welcome to The Captain’s Quarters, your premier shipping-themed getaway perched atop Observation Hill with panoramic views of the majestic Duluth Lift Bridge and Lake Superior. Pet, kid & remote-work friendly, it also features a gas grill, patio & deck for an unforgettable lakeside retreat.
Whether you’re docking for a weekend or an extended stay, The Captain’s Quarters is your port of call for an unforgettable experience. Book your stay today and let the lake’s lullabies rock you to sleep.
This two bedroom, one bath unit has a full kitchen and comfortable living and dining room. There is a dedicated workspace in the primary bedroom.
The dining table features a bumper pool and poker table with regal chairs.
Guests enter the unit through back of the building. On the other side of the unit there is a deck facing the lake. Guests also have access to the yard.
We will be in touch primarily through the app and can respond very quickly.
There is a dedicated space in our lot for guests and a bus stop line at the road.
Our property offers beautiful views and a peaceful retreat, and part of its charm includes a short walk down a somewhat steep hill from the parking lot to the entrance. While the hill is manageable for most guests and paved, we want to ensure everyone is aware. We recommend comfortable shoes for your arrival and departure.
Please note: cancellations and refunds are subject to a standard processing fee of 3.9% + $0.30, which covers non-refundable payment platform costs.
City ordinances require the owners of any animal shall be responsible for cleaning up any feces of the animal and disposing of such feces in a sanitary manner.
Animals must be kenneled when you`re not in the unit and leashed when outside.
No parties or events. This includes no unlisted guests/people allowed on the property.
This property is equipped with exterior door camera(s) to monitor the number of guests coming and going.
No smoking or vaping of any kind allowed anywhere on the property including, but not limited to interior, exterior, porch, deck, and parking lot areas. Smoking violations will result in a minimum $800 cleaning charge.
Wasting utilities will incur fees to the guest. Ensure the propane tank valves are closed.
Violation of house rules will result in immediate cancellation without refund regardless of unused nights.
