This vacation home is a good spot to relax in the sun with nearby beach. Air conditioning, a washing machine, a dryer and a refrigerator will help make your beach vacation comfortable and convenient. Also enjoy some of the nearby water activities including boating, scuba diving, parasailing and fishing. Feel free to bring your own boat there is plenty of parking and we have a shared dock to use. The beach is very private and low key with no public access besides are little neighborhood. The pool area is very secluded and covered with a large lanai and tropical landscaping.

We rented this property for 5 nights while visiting friends in the area. The house was beautiful and located a very short walk to the private neighborhood beach. We also enjoyed the heated pool and utilized the gas grill provided. The owner was good about responding to inquiries. This included graciously allowing us to have our 2 small dogs stay with us (we requested in advance). Englewood wasn't busy when we visited, so our stay was truly relaxing and low key...Just perfect!

It is a lovely open plan home. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and silverware. Kiddos complained that the pool was too hot. It gets direct sun and a hot July made it uncomfortable.

Very calm, serene area. House clean, nicely furnished and decorated. Although it was the coldest week in 3 years, the weather was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We are now looking to buy a property in the Englewood area due to this experience.

Home was listed as a 4 bedroom actually only has 3,owner counted the sleeper sofa in living room as a bedroom.We were informed a few hours that the Hot tub was broken and a new one was ordered owner said the pool heat was turned up to compensate.Upon our arrival we discovered there was no fourth bedroom,the pool was not functional due to low water level below skimmer.It was evident that the pool was not cleaned,filled,sanitized or heated and made ready. Now onto the ant infestation that the owner acknowledges and makes excuses for and do not go outside at night before turning lighting on to scare the incredible number of Roaches away first! I asked the owner to reduce the cost to that of a compareable 3 bedroom home with no amenities and her response was our bad luck and said she would refund us a paltry 250. This is absolutely not what we expected from all our previous rentals through VRBO!

We Love the Island Oasis!

This was our 4th straight summer vacation to Manasota Key. However, it’s our first staying at Island Oasis and first working with Gulf realty. The owners and Gulf realty are wonderful and the property was amazing. If your looking at this listing and concerned about the walk to the beach (as I was) it’s not a far walk to the beach and more importantly….it’s a pleasant walk. My husband, 2 children and myself (none of us walk empty handed to the beach, the owners had also had new beach gear delivered to the house the day we arrived for everyone to use, we were very grateful for a wagon and umbrella to use) we had no trouble walking to the beach even in the July heat! The house and pool were perfect and we can’t wait to visit again!

Perfect 🏝 Private island Getaway !

My wife and I got away for a few days at Island Oasis and did not know what to expect. It was the best retreat we have had yet. We really enjoyed it for several reasons but to name a few, the house is gorgeous and well decorated so that you really feel like your on an island of your own. The pool was amazing and private as private can be! We enjoyed the shaded short walk to the water were I tossed the line in for some sport fishing. Literally the fish were jumping out of the water! And yes with all the fish in the area we got to see dolphins several times up close. We hopped on the beach bikes late in the evening, but always ended up back in the pool. We recommend this place strongly with or without the family.

The house is def a decent place. Clean, stocked well with linens and towels. Hood layout. Good location. Def could use some landscape upgrades. Everything is over grown and trimmed back vs nicely groomed. Pool was nice. Patio cushions need pitched- stained and mildewed. . Cement could use a scrubbing. Screens are in need of repair, lots of gaps and pulled away from frame. I would give it 5 stars if the “jungle” would have been better maintained.

Perfect Beach Retreat

The house was exactly as described. Check in was easy and quick at the office nearby. The location was quiet and private, barely heard traffic the entire week. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed (bring your own soap, shampoo, tp). Beds were extremely comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The private beach access across the street we were never able to actually access as the water cones right to the steps but maybe we never were there at low tide. Either way there were 4 beaches nearby, all with tons of shark teeth to collect. The dock on the bay was great for fishing and has seats as well. Plenty of stores nearby for groceries and conveniences. Five star rental!

Michelle is a Teacher and I am the owner of a flooring store here in Wyoming. We love the Florida scenery and all the activities that come with it. We are excited to be able to share our house with others to enjoy the Florida island experience.

My best friend brought us down to their house on the same island and we fell in love with it. We really like the laid back old school Florida vibe that Manasosta key has. We like how close the house is to the beach and how it also has it's own access to a dock where we can use our boat.

This lovely 1900 square foot3 bedroom home with a heated pool and jacuzzi spa has the best of both worlds. Not only do you have the Gulf of Mexico with its spectacular sunsets and wide private beach, you also have a dock to use on Lemon bay and your own private oasis in a quiet, secluded neighborhood. The privet beach, available only to those in the immediate neighborhood, is a short walk across and up the street and is full of shells and sharks teeth to collect. Of course, you can walk along this beach down or up to any of the public beaches that are nearby- Blind Pass Beach and Manasota Key Beach are to the North and Englewood public beach is to the South.

The Home has an open-concept design, with a vaulted ceiling and sight-lines to the living room, dining room and kitchen. In addition, the sliding glass doors in the living area allow a direct view of the swimming pool and covered lanai. The home has been tastefully decorated in a tropical theme by an interior decorator. the comfortably furnished living room seats up to 8 people and has a large-screen TV with lots of channels and free whole-house high speed internet and WiFi.

The dining area has a large wooden table for 8 people in addition to the 2 stools at the kitchen island. For more dining space, you'll enjoy dining on the screened lanai especially on those warn winter days and cool summer nights. The lanai also has a gas grill and 6 lounge chairs for sunning and relaxing by the pool. The Kitchen is fit for a gourmet cook, fully equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances, new granite counter tops and with loads of pots and pans, dishes and utensils.
