This is such a quiet, cozy place, with clean air, showcasing the amazing creation of God's unlimited imagination and love for all of us. It is a reasonably short drive to Roseburg which is our version of "the big city" with a population of about 22K people. We fully enjoy being a part of the town of Riddle, volunteering at the local elementary school, being active members of a local church, and being on first name basis with the lady behind the counter at the post office and the folks who own and run the bakery in town. Around the fourth of July, we have a wonderful festival in town, called "Sawdust Jubilee," celebrating the timber industry. Waiting at a stop sign (no stop lights in Riddle!) for three cars to pass is our version of heavy traffic. Riddle has about 1,200 population in town, and we live about 2 miles "out in the country." You are sure to enjoy it here! Plenty of room for your doggie to romp and run. We are not fenced in, so keep the leash handy.
