We enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for our family. Most importantly we felt we were in a safe area and did not worry about our ATV on our trailer and all of our gear in the back of our truck. Also, it was located within 15 minutes of the river walk w a big back yard.

The front and back yard where in seriously new of yard maintenance. I was able to communicate with host prior to our stay then the door key path stop working on us and i try get a hold of the hostess and i’m back home now and still haven’t heard from him. There was only one roll of toilet paper for 7 people there was no garbage bags at all for the price this was terrible we will not be staying there again for sure. Oh yeah and at 10:30am has we are getting to leave the maid shows up wanting to clean the house literally kicking us out

The house was not ready at check-in time. Dishwasher does not work and very little dish soap was left. The refrigerator water and ice does not work. Large stain on my son’s sheets, but after washing them, the stain was gone so bed linens were not washed! I did appreciate the lady coming back to mow the yard and having a fenced yard for the dog.

A comfortable place

The property itself was nice just needed a little more love and attention. The backdoor doesn't lock and no hotwater in the showers. The pool table was nice but the slant in the foundation made it hard to play a decent game. Also a heads up on street construction would have been nice. They started working at 6:30 am on the 3 days we stayed. Light's and switches were a little wonky but once u figured them out it was ok. The yard was nice and big but the grass was not cut. The chairs at the dining room table were literally "on their last leg." Toiletries that were offered were cheap and watered down. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay.

I grew up in a military family moving around quite a bit and then as an adult spent my entire career in the hospitality industry which I've loved.

Why they chose this property

This was my childhood home and I grew up here so I have a lot of pride in sharing this home with others. I love how close it is to everything like the military bases downtown New Braunfels shopping and yet is still secluded and feels like you're on the edge of the city though you're simultaneously so close and within a short distance of everything San Antonio and the surrounding area has to offer

What makes this property unique

I think The most unique feature is pride. I've been in hospitality for my entire life and this is my home growing up and I have a lot of pride in both and generally believe that every chance at traveling is a chance that only comes every so often and it's precious. And so you have my commitment that If there's something that I can, I will do it. And my goal is always to anticipate your needs and have them met without you having to think about it before you even arrive.
