This a tale of two parts. Part 1 (check-in) was terrible, while Part 2 (the house) was good.At 7am on day of check-in I get a text saying the house is ready and I can check in early for an additional 25/hour. I ignore this.At 30 mins before allowed check-in (4pm) I have received no door code. There is no response from the host messaging. I try repeatedly until 4:05. All the host's emails to me, when I reserved, included a telephone number. I call that only get a recording that says: "This is the text-only number, for help call .." ...which of course IS THE NUMBER I AM CALLING RIGHT NOW ... extremely frustrating Catch-22.I try the vrbo support automated agent - that is not able to find my account. But finally I get the vrbo 800 help number, a real person, who contacts the host - who finally sends me the door code at 4:55pmA complete nightmare that will make me question my use of VRBO going forward.Part 2 is that the house was quite nice, well appointed & decorated. Great kitchen although we did not cook, There is some false advertising in my opinion about the 4th 'bedroom' which clearly was an office and separated by the main area by a glass sliding door .... where everyone can see you, plus no closet. So in real world terms it is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house. Better having a fold out couch in the living area and returning that room back into an office as there is zero work area except the kitchen table.
