The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and return the keys
Collect all used towels and placed them in the laundry backets.
Turn off the AC in all the bedrooms, turn off lights, and return all keys to the housekeeper.
Collect all bathroom garbage and place by the kitchen to be collected by the housekeeper. Do a final walk through with the housekeeper. This will help you in case you forget personal items.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No visitors allowed. Day pass to visit cost $25 per person. Unauthorized overnight guest fee $40 per person.
No smoking in any part of the property. Guest can go outside the property or the beach to smoke.
Quiet hours 10:00pm -6:00 am/ Holidays-no noise restriction as other beach houses have guests celebrating until late hours.

When I first arrived in San Diego Beach, I knew I had found a special place. There was something about the sound of the waves, the calm of the neighborhood, and the endless blue horizon that immediately drew me in. As a teacher and traveler, I've always been fascinated by spaced that invite people to slow down, connect, and recharge, and San Diego Beach offered exactly that. What begin as a simple visit turned into a long-term vision: creating a comfortable, welcoming beach retreat where guests could enjoy the same sense of peace I first felt here. That vision became Villa Mar Azul. Azul (blue) is my favorite color! and I cannot leave away from the blue ocean.

Why they chose this property

When I first discovered the property, it was simple but full of potential. I could already imagine families laughing by the pool, friends cooking together, and travelers resting after exploring Surf City Park and its surroundings. My goal wasn't just renovate the house, I wanted to create a practical, comfortable home where people could live unforgettable days by the sea. Every decision, from the bedding, to the kitchen and all the amenities included came from the idea that travel should feel effortless and pleasant.

What makes this property unique

Villa Mar Azul is located on the second row of San Diego Beach, just less than two minutes walk from the sand. This location provides the best of both worlds: close enough to hear the ocean and enjoy the sea breeze, yet far enough to have privacy and quiet.
The villa comfortably host up to 10 guests, making it ideal for families, small groups, or couples traveling together. Each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom and AC, something that guests frequently mention as a highlight. Everyone who had book my villa on Airbnb mention as the best part and some even say that the villa is even better in person. Guests have position Villa Mar Azul in the top 10% ranking.
The fully equipped kitchen allows guests to prepare meals just like home. It includes modern appliances, cookware, and plenty of space for group cooking. I know from experience how much joy comes from sharing a meal while on vacation, so I made sure the kitchen flows naturally into the dining and living areas.
