Arkansas Lakefront Hideaway

Split-level house with two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs, each with it's own bath. Main floor has a cozy kitchen, dining area for eight, half bath and living area. There is a large, screened-in porch off an upstairs bedroom. A deck extends from the main floor in the back accessible from the living area and each bedroom. Downstairs the two bedrooms/baths flank a TV room with sectional and a ping pong table. This is a relaxing retreat with lake views from each bedroom. A short walk leads to the shale-covered lakefront where you can tether your boat, sit on the beach area or fish from the shore.

Great house and the host family was super easy to communicate with and very responsive. The house was beautiful and the setting was perfect for our family weekend. I would definitely rent this property again.

It is a lovely home. You feel like you are living in a tree house. We mostly stayed on the screened porch. How wonderful to hear a whippoorwill. I haven’t heard one in years. To make improvements I would fix the locks on the doors that do not lock. I would also add window coverings in the bathrooms and bedrooms. The views are gorgeous, but at night it is a bit unnerving not to cover your windows when you are undressing. Great house and very nice owner.
