We were in New Orleans moving my college kids out of the dorms at Loyola that week and this was a great homebase location for us. Easy to park and lots of wonderful places to walk. I will also say that the beds and pillows were wonderful!
The apartment is as charming as in the photos, the location convenient to explore along Magazine St. and the Garden District and a few minutes walk to the street car on St. Charles. You'll find plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants within a quick stroll, as well as Anarchy Yoga, which offers community classes for a deal. Favorite eateries include Hi-Volt, Stein Bagel & Deli (excellent pastrami, incredible beer selection, too) and District Coffee Donuts. The apartment kitchen is well-appointed and clean linens were provided. Unfortunately, the wi-fi wasn't working when we arrived and it took two days to hear from the owner, who did come swap out the router and was apologetic for the delay in communication. Apart from feeling neglected those first couple days, we enjoyed our accommodations on this trip.
The host was welcoming and responsive to all my questions. The place was stunning, clean, well-equipped, and the beds were insanely comfortable! We had a wonderful stay.
My husband and I stayed here for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Fabulous decor and the perfect location for shopping and dining- we were able to walk to pretty much everywhere we needed to go. The hosts were totally professional, kind, and communicative as well. Definitely hope to come back when it’s warmer so we can take full advantage of the balcony overlooking Magazine Street!
Loved everything about the property! The home itself was absolutely fabulous and the location was perfect! We will definitely stay here again when visiting NOLA!
Nice apartment. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Close proximity to bus stops for the 11 and 91 bus routes; download the Le Pass app, purchase a Jazzy pass and you are all set for moving around town. Forget the streetcar, they are always packed full of people and go right past the stops.
It's a gorgeous property in a great location for a terrific price. We did have a few minor inconveniences, such as damp towels left in the dryer, a (presumably clean) dishwasher that was not unloaded, and several lightbulbs out. Also, I was expecting (per the listing photos) to have a bedroom with 2 twin beds. Instead, both bedrooms have one queen bed. I see now that the description states 2 queen beds, but the photos depict otherwise. It's a simple fix that the owners should address to avoid surprises. The communication with the owner was not as prompt as I'd have expected, given there were a few issues that needed attention during our stay. Despite these minor issues, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property or stay here again.
What a beautiful and charming condo! Great attention to history and detail of the decor! The perfect place to stay, an inviting balcony with numerous places to shop and so many wonderful places to eat and enjoy refreshing drinks!!
Beautiful home on a quiet stretch of Magazine St. The living room is bright and the decor is so special. We got to view a wedding March from the terrace while enjoying a glass of wine. Hosts were exceptional to communicate with. I never leave a review, but this place deserves it- don’t hesitate to- book your stay here!
Such a wonderful stay in NOLA! The location is perfect, especially with the cute balcony! Beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host was great!
