Parking is next to cottage on the grass to the left. There is enough parking for 1 car. Do not park in front of cottage and block the shared driveway.
Wash all dishes used and put trash in Big Blue garbage bins outside behind the first cabin.

This is such a cute place! Very modern, clean, and fresh. The bed was very comfortable. Everything you need for a few days is there. Would definitely go again. We parked as advised in the directions, though there was a parking sign in a different spot!Great way to spend our anniversary. We rented kayaks, and swam at the public beach, both not too far away. You won’t regret staying here.

Came up last minute for wife’s birthday and loved the place! Perfect for a couple to relax. Very clean, owners were great and quick to answer our questions and provide us with what we needed. Within walking distance to the lake, DNR boat launch, and bar/restaurants.

Very clean and nicely painted. The A/C was problematic. Requires use of a fan in the doorway and on all night to effectively cool the bungalow. NO windows open. There is a screen door with no lock. So, if it’s cooler outside than inside - you cannot leave the door open. Investing in a strategically placed mini split would solve the challenge of cooling & heating. The bathroom passage way is VERY narrow. The shower is a dark hole. The bed was made up with flannel micro fiber sheets (it’s July). The host responded immediately. Sent sheet from Amazon. I bought percale sheets the next day from the local Walmart and was reimbursed by the host. There is no washer/dryer- I had to wash sheets at another location. No beach towels provided despite being at the Lake. (We flew in from California) Parking is confusing- the instructions from the host didn’t not match what we encountered. Given it summer and High season, I expected the price. However, that being said- I also expected everything to be in place and no detail overlooked for the rate.

This renter checked in the day after the 4th of July weekend. This was unfortunately record high temps in northern Michigan and all over the nation exceeding 95 to 100° daily and above 80's at night, which is not common. Our air units are new and purchased last year. We have never had any issues or complaints before, so we do apologize. We are very sorry for the mix-up in the sheets. Our regular housekeeper canceled this week and the fill in housekeeper accidently used the wrong winter sheet set. We received an email from our guest and immediately corrected that problem with some new sheets. Addressing the other comments, it states this cabin is a one room studio cabin. Yes, the bathroom is smaller and narrower, but this is out of our control. There are pictures of the bathroom and its newly remodeled and very clean, the shower is spacious and there is a light for the shower. This has never been an issue. Unfortunately, we do not supply beach towels, being we are not a hotel and cannot do a check-in and checkout system with them. Parking is directly in front of that cabin & has a parking block and a sign in front that stats where parking is for this cabin. We appreciate any feedback and suggestions from our renters, and we are always happy to go above and beyond and make their stay as nice and comfortable, and we are sorry for any Inconvenience to our guests.
