2 Bedroom, beautifully decorated condo, St. Simons Island, heated pool

The Condo is on St. Simons Island, one of the Golden Isles, comprising St. Simons, Jekyll, and Sea Islands. The beaches are pristine, beautiful and uncrowded, with fascinating waterways and waterfronts. It’s totally relaxing to walk and swim, hang out and picnic, float the current at Gould’s Inlet, watch the kite surfers, or throw balls with your dogs (anytime most of the year and between 6 PM and 9 AM in the summer). Sometimes you’re just alone on a beautiful beach with nothing but dunes behind you. You can dine overlooking the intracoastal Waterway.

The condo is located in Ocean Walk on Mallery St, a very nice community with two pools (one heated), tennis courts, ping-pong, a fitness center, and a duck pond. It is 5 minutes (25 minute walk) to the beach and 3 minutes (15 minute walk) to the Village shops and restaurants. There is a lot of pro golf in the area. Golf carts can be rented and driven in the streets, and electric bikes and scooters on the pathways.

This is a very pleasant two bedroom (one king and one queen), 925 sq ft, freshly painted with upgraded bathrooms and new furniture. It is on the second floor of the building and features lots of windows and daylight. This condo comfortably sleeps four with new, high quality mattresses. There is new furniture and large TVs. The kitchen has a refrigerator-freezer and granite counter tops. The condo offers a washer/dryer. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the porch, overlooking a grassy area, with four chairs and a table.

Jekyll Island is attractive for the historic hotel and museum as well as the turtle sanctuary and beaches.

Nearby also there is the Village, with lots of shops, the Lighthouse Museum, a great hot dog stand and ice cream stand, all types of fun restaurants, open-air bars, nightclubs, and the very finest dining, too. During summer, it is suggested to make your dinner reservations ahead of time.

Golf Cart and Bike Rentals (It really is a beach town!)
You can drive on the roads when the speed limit is 35 mph or less, and there are bike paths everywhere.
