Amazing experience, beautiful home, fantastic location!

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful Arts District mansion served us well for our big trip to New Orleans. We had 13 people but the house could have comfortably slept at least 5 more couples! The house is clean, updated, and in a wonderful location. The quarter and downtown are only 10 min away. Trolley stop on the next block over. Very safe neighborhood. Lee Ann was a perfect host who went above and beyond all of our expectations to ensure we had the best trip possible. Can't say enough good things, 10 out of 5 stars.

Great!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at the Arts District Gem. Great host and ample space for groups large and small. Beautiful interior and well stocked. Location is close by to WWII museum and an easy walk to a range of great restaurants in the Arts District as well as close to the French Quarter. We loved it and will plan to come back on future trips. Thanks!

The bees knees for a Bachelorette weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 16 women recently spent 4 days at this beautiful house for my daughter's Bachelorette celebration. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay! LeeAnn, the owner, was so helpful and provides so many nice touches like toiletries, coffee and the fabulous dresser full of costumes and beads! She also recommended an outstanding caterer for our special dinner on Saturday night. All of the beds were very comfortable and there was an ample supply of linens and towels. It's a beautiful home in a perfect location!

Beautiful home. Fantastic location. Great host.

  • 5 of 5

My group thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in New Orleans and staying at this property played a huge part in that. There was a total of 15 people and we all slept comfortably in the home. There was also plenty of space for us to be in our own area. The house had everything we needed in terms of toiletries, housewares, sheets, and blankets. My group was able to walk to the French Quarter and Bourbon street relatively quickly. Several great restaurants are also a short walking distance from the house. I would definitely stay at this house for my next large group trip to New Orleans.

Memorable Family Mardi Gras Reunion

  • 5 of 5

Couldn't have asked for a better place for a reunion for our 19 family members! This was our 4th Mardi Gras family reunion and Lee Ann's home provided us with awesome memories! She was so helpful with information prior to arriving, upon arrival, and the couple of times we had a question during our stay. As you can tell from the pictures and reviews on the website, the house is "knock down gorgeous" and can EASILY accommodate a large group. It is true visitors do not need toiletries, bedding, towels, coffee, condiments. We LOVED the large dining table. We loved the 1 1/2 block walk to the St. Charles parades and therefore had quick and easy access to the "facilities," so necessary when you are at the parades for hours on end or need a food break! We loved the close proximity to the Garden District, Magazine Street, WWII and art museums, the French Quarter (and St. Charles trolley line if we hadn't been there during Mardi Gras). An enclosed parking garage right next to the house provided safe, convenient parking for family vehicles (but we never got the cars out as we could walk everywhere).

Can I stay here FOREVER?!?

  • 5 of 5

I rented Lee Ann's wonderful home to celebrate my 30th birthday with a group of 26 friends and this house could not have been more perfect. If we could all runaway forever and move in permanently I think most of us would have done it! Lee Ann greeted us the night before we were scheduled to stay as we had flown in early to prepare for the weekend festivities and she gave us a tour around the house and was so kind and helpful. She provided many suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area- I can't imagine a host more accommodating than her, it was truly a dream working with her throughout the process. The house was as amazing as Lee Ann is. There were 4 floors with beds on all floors except for the 2nd (though some did pass out on the couches there a couple of times throughout the weekend as they were very comfortable). The 2nd floor was the perfect hang out space for a group and it has direct access outside to an awesome balcony that we rather enjoyed sitting and hanging out on. No need to bring towels, pillows, shampoo/conditioner or any bedding- even with a group of our size, there was more than enough for everyone. Really convenient to have the elevator that brought our suitcases upstairs (especially for those of us that don't understand packing light for a long weekend) and it did carry some of our comrades down after a night of excessive celebration. This house has literally everything you could possibly need for a weekend getaway in the amazing city that is New Orleans including a drawer of party beads should you be feeling the Mardi Gras spirit! Minutes away from the WWII museum (strongly recommend but make sure you leave some time for this, it's huge!), and only about a 15 minute walk to the FQ. Close walk to the St Charles street car line (hop on and take a ride around, great way to see more of the city) and also a nearby grocery store and some great restaurants, including Emeril's new restaurant, Meril (delicious and surprisingly affordable Tapas restaurant on Girod). Cannot stress enough how perfect this place is, will need to think of a new reason to drag a big group back down to New Orleans again... There's always the 31st birthday!!
