We stayed for a month in September to October as I needed a place to recover which was close to the hospital as I had surgery. It was a wonderful place to stay and recuperate. Lovely backyard, completely renovated house with big kitchen. Very comfortable furniture and perfect for our family to stay there. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and nearby walking trails as I recovered from my surgery. Many good restaurants nearby as well. Great host who was very responsive to questions as well.

About the host

Hosted by Bruce Van Klaveren

Host profile image
This is Bruce and Torey Van Klaveren. We bought this property in the Village of Zionsville because we have been traveling here for years to visit our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. We swore when we retired, we would buy a property here and live in it part of the year, and share with you for part of it. So rest assured, we have outfitted it so we...and YOU would LOVE it! Please enjoy it as much as we have so far!

Why they chose this property

This historic and charming neighborhood is wonderful. We are a short 1/2 mile walk to the famed brick Main Street that is full of great shops, restaurants and parks. Abraham Lincoln visited this site (Lincoln Park) in 1861 from a train platform on the way to his inauguration! The people are warm and welcoming and the brick main street and surrounding businesses are a treat to explore!

What makes this property unique

Our property was built in 1958 and fully renovated in late 2024-early 2025. The backyard garden is enchanting and peaceful. The interior has a wonderful great room and fireplace and is warm and inviting. After purchasing the property we lived in it to make sure it is outfitted with everything you might need to make your stay wonderful. We hope you enjoy is as much as we have in the short time we've owned it, and expect to for years to come.
