This was a wonderful home to rent! The owners have have been very thoughtful and thorough with all the details of the home. Very clean and well stocked with all that you would need for a restful vacation. We enjoyed the deck and covered patios so much we had a hard time picking which one to relax on. We will be planning another stay at this location!

The best VRBO ever!! Well appointed, well organized, and overall close to perfect! The owner was extremely responsive and helpful with issues/questions throughout the entire process. I would stay here or any other property owned by this renter without hesitation!

Pretty disappointed as we drove into what appeared to be an RV park. But as we got close to the lake itself you could see how nice the home was. My wife was worried but pleasantly surprised once we got inside . Everything you need and absolutely an amazing home. Great stay and awesome views

Sam was very responsive and so helpful. Home is beautiful. We stayed with grandkids and they really enjoyed the swimming pool and the views were excellent. Only complaint we had was the mossy, weedy lake. Maybe someone can do something about that. We’d definitely stay again.

This property was perfect for our weekend away with friends. Everything inside looked clean, new, and well decorated. And the hosts had clearly made an effort to think of the big and small details to make our stay welcoming. We loved the lake view and the boardwalk around the water. The kitchen was stocked and there was ample comfortable seating inside and out to visit with our friends. Beds were comfortable. We would happily return!

Great place to stay, lots to do and centrally located to many golf courses, My friends and family had more than enough space. Everything was just as described in the package. Neat clean, and tidy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay, with plenty to do for different people. Most of our group golfed however not everyone was a golfer. and they all found something to do while we golfed, Visit the beach, Paddle board, Corn Hole, pitch horseshoes, or take kids to playground, and after we arrived back at the house, we shared their adventures. A GREAT TIME had by ALL!!!!

This beautiful, lakefront home was the answer to our perfect getaway for our family, ages 3 to 77! It was not only immaculate, it was extremely well-stocked…there was nothing more you could have hoped for…even an “emergency stash” in case you forgot something. It is so well-appointed…you feel at home immediately. It’s one of the few VRBO’s we’ve experienced, that truly prioritizes making their guests comfortable. We enjoyed the Friday night fish fry at Joey’s (a 60 second walk) and the beach, which was a short walk on the boardwalk (about 10 minutes). There’s also a huge pool that we took advantage of each day. The boys loved the kayaks and the outdoor toys available and the adults loved the two outside levels for relaxing and the Blackstone was perfect for cooking our cheeseburgers! We also rented a pontoon boat for one day from Blue Heron Boats, which was a fun day for all of us, as well. The amenities that the hosts offer are unsurpassed for anywhere we’ve previously stayed and would highly recommend Rest at Badin Lake. We will be returning as often as we can!

Excellent lake front house! Perfect stay! The vacation rental business has apparently had a dip lately -- at least, it seems to here. THIS type of rental is why I will always check out VRBO before hotels. Super helpful and easy to reach host. So much room, with a perfect lake front area for relaxing and listening to the lake and birds in the morning. A place for the teens to be active -- WITH supplies to help that out. (They loved the Kayaks and the beach that was in easy walking distance.)The kind of 'camping' I prefer, lol. And as a side note, not only was it spotless on arrival and beautiful home, the inside was super well stocked too -- easy to cook for those teens! Seriously, I've literally stayed in at least 20 vacation rentals here and even in different countries. This one was one of the best stocked and clean for cooking. Thank you so much for helping my kiddo 'celebrate' graduation and make memories in a (mostly -- teens, you know) calm, sportsy, safe way. They will remember it always, and we appreciate you!
