The place was great and so quiet. The cell reception and WiFi was poor at best, which made the place even BETTER! The fridge was a bit noisy but acted as “white noise “ while sleeping so it was fine. There was a bit of a musty smell but it’s a small cabin in the woods, open a window and let the amazing smell of the forest air in. I wish the cabin had either a wood burning stove or fireplace. Gus, our 2 year old Cattle Dog felt right at home and loved every second of his Drummond Island Adventure!The place was perfect and can’t wait to go back again next year, hopefully for a longer trip.

The guests before us probably put food particles down the sink because after we used the sink, we had to deal with the maggots that came out of the drain. Flushed the pipes with dish soap and hot water BUT I could have done without that experience. Roku was broke BUT the staff at the hotel brought out a new unit as soon as it was reported (she lives nearby). Perfect location for trail riding in our Jeeps. BBQ down the street was delicious and the Country Store was also convenient. Nightime was peaceful for a great night's rest. Also note, there were no pot holders... Found this out after having used the oven.

Place smelled from. Old or mildew. Good thing it wasn't hot as we had 1 box fan no A/C but it wasnt advertized that it was so equipped. The mattresses were anything but firm and our backs hurt. No closets to hang clothes. I understand they have a short window to rent units which is why they are priced as they are. Still a little more pricey than I expected.
