Esta es una suite de dos habitaciones en Torre Mar Galápagos, es una suite de estilo tradicional con un toque moderno. Todos los muebles son personalizados hechos a mano en Galápagos. Torre Mar Galápagos está a solo unos minutos a pie del muelle principal en la avenida Charles Darwin.

Este moderno alojamiento ofrece unos espaciosos 100 metros cuadrados con una cocina totalmente equipada, comedor y sala de estar con un estilo de concepto abierto. La suite ofrece A / C, wifi, TV, cable y muchas otras amenidades adicionales.

Todos nuestros huéspedes pueden disfrutar de la terraza social del cuarto nivel donde encontrará asientos cómodos para disfrutar de la impresionante vista al mar. También hay mesas de comedor y una parrilla de barbacoa si te gusta ser un chef al aire libre.

La suite está equipada con una cama king size o dos gemelos extra largos en el dormitorio principal. El segundo dormitorio está equipado con dos camas dobles. Esta suite tiene capacidad para 4 personas. Cada habitación tiene un gran armario. El baño completo tiene una ducha de agua caliente.

Donna (owner) is a fantastic host

Donna communicated with us before our trip to provide information about arrival and to offer transportation assistance from the airport. Once we were there she offered to arrange tours, suggest dining places and made reservations for us. She did everything she could to make our stay easy and enjoyable. On one of the tours she was our guide. That was so helpful.

Good Option

Overall a great place to stay. The place was very spacious and clean, with the exception of a large dead cockroach in the bedroom corner, likely due to pest control. The shower also didn't drain well but it is likely that the owner would have taken care of it if we had told him (we were doing long daily excursions and in that we forgot to tell him about it), as he was very responsive. My only slight critique would be the pictures seem to make it look like it has a balcony, which it does not. It does have access to a beautiful shared rooftop area. (it is hard to tell in a couple of the pictures whether it is the rooftop area our a private balcony. The owner is very responsive and friendly. We enjoyed meeting him and he was always willing to help and answer any questions. Regarding location, it is pretty good. about 10-15 minute walk from most places. We would consider staying here again but next time will want to book a room with a balcony.

We stayed here over Christmas and were quite happy with the apartment itself. It's clean, the furnishings are comfortable & all of the linens were in good condition. The location was great, not too far of a walk down to the pier and in a quiet safe neighborhood with good shops for groceries if you plan to cook. Lots of taxis around The kitchen has exactly what is needed for 4 guests but no tupperware so we cooked, served and stored our meals in the same pot. No toaster so we used the oven instead The bathroom had plenty of hotwater but the pressure is low. It would have been helpful to have a plastic pitcher w/ cups in the bathroom to brush teeth since the h2o isn't potable. We had been traveling for 10+ hours and really needed a restroom; it took us over 30 minutes to check in because John had to tell us at least 15 times that it is a no smoking property and that he has cameras everywhere and will "peek" to ensure we are following the rules. (his words) It was a laborious and off putting check in to say the least no matter how friendly all of the rules to stay here were delivered. It is required that you turn off the A/C when you leave but don't worry, if you forget someone will come in to turn them off for you and not let you know that they entered. We know this from personal experience, it was quite unsettling to say the least. If you need anything additional, like toilet paper John will curtly remind you that it's not a hotel but will begrudgingly give you a roll.

Heavy smoker. Left place very dirty. It required a lot of extra work to have the unit ready again. Our property is a NON SMOKING one. Upon arrival she walked up to our office with a cigarette in her mouth! Neighbors complained about her littering with cigarettes butts their front sidewalk/curb, she would sit on the sidewalk/curb across from us and smoke from sunrise to sunset!

Torres Mar Galapagos

Overall, the best VRBO we have ever done! John and Donna Garate were immediately responsive to our requests. John arranged and booked 4 excursions for our family of 4 adults - all top rated and all wonderful! The apartment is clean, 4-5 blocks from the waterfront (walking distance), 2 bedroom and one bath, nice kitchen and living area - spacious. Excellent for our family. The Wi-fi is good and the deck on top is cooled by the ocean breeze and has a nice view. We had housekeeping service daily and had our clothes washed twice for a tiny fee. Galápagos Islands are cash only. You can pay with CC, but there is a 12-20% additional fee (charged by the CC, and the merchant needs to charge you.) John helped us get more cash, eg, which ATM to use. Highly recommend this VRBO!!!
