THE LOCATION WAS AMAZING, THE CABIN WAS A VERY COZY, RUSTIC, AND VERY COMFORTABLE, OUR HOST KEPT IN CONTACT WITH ME AND GAVE ME SUGESTIONS ON DINNER, PLACES TO FISH AND WHERE TO GO FOR AMAZING VIEW OF THE MOUNTIAN..MATT WAS FANTASTIC

The stay was perfect! Quiet and we were able to swim whenever we wanted without the crowd. The fire pit right by the water was the best and how we spent every evening. Our dog was able to come with us and enjoyed the water as well as the spacious yard. This place was exactly how we wanted to spend our vacation. The host was on it and will respond immediately to any text or call with questions about the property.Thank you for an awesome vacation! We definitely will return!

Moosehead a best

This cabin is sitting right on the water. Spectacular view of the mountains and beautiful sunsets. Very quiet and peaceful. For those who love to fish, hike or sightseeing this is the place to stay!

Peaceful getaway

Moosehead is a worthwhile destination for fishing and getting away from it all. This property/ cabin had all the cleanliness, space and privacy we were looking for. Will rent again next year if available.

Quiet/Stunning views

Cottage was clean with amazing views of the water! The owner was extremely helpful with giving recommendations where to go to see moose! He also called us before our arrival which was an added personal touch! Thanks Matt! Definitely hope to come back! which I Heevencalled us before arriving

First, the pictures don't do the place justice. The cabin is amazing in so many ways! The windows, the cleanliness, the beds, the views, and the property. The cabin provided the perfect opportunity for the much needed recharge and recentering. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on the Lake. Thank you so much!

Piece of Heaven on Moosehead Lake

This property is simply stunning, with panoramic views of Moosehead and Mt. Kineo providing tranquility and privacy. This cabin provides all of the amenities we dreamed of, and looked forward to. Simply a beautiful piece of property and cabin with tons of potential for family fun, gatherings and simply enjoying the lake fishing, and outdoor recreation such as snowmobiling. Couldn’t be more thankful for an owner who went above and beyond accommodating and being supportive of us. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy this cabin!

Great Visit

The arrival was very well coordinated with the owner. He provided all the information we needed. The cottage was equipped with everything we could have wanted, especially the kitchen. We were there during some very rainy weather, and just sitting and looking out the wonderful picture windows over the lake was so relaxing. The fire pit outside was a great feature, right on the lake shore, on our one nice evening. We hope to be returning in the future.

Very special location

We could not imagine a better place to "get away from it all." The owners have invested so much care into every detail of their lakefront home. There is a breathtaking view from every room. We could not have enjoyed it more.

Perfect Maine Cabin!

My husband and I needed a vacation, but are still hesitant about traveling during the Covid pandemic. We decided to stay in-state for a Maine winter vacation. This cabin was the perfect spot for our plans of ice fishing and snowmobiling. My husband is avid in these sports, me not so much. I bought some extra long johns and decided to try it all! What an amazing experience! The cabin is rustic Maine at its best! Plenty of space, well stocked, and a beautiful fireplace. Knowing we were bringing our dog with us, there was everything set out for her as well! Bed, dishes, and a ball! We were so comfortable there, we hated to leave! We will definitely rent it again! The location is so convenient to snowmobile trails, and around the cove a great place to eat and grab a drink. As is common in Maine, there is some sulfur smell in the water, but a filtration system is in place. We brought our own water anyway, so it wasn’t an issue. We highly recommend this cabin, and would love to see it in the summer as well! Easy to find, easy to “check in”. Matt was a great host. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!
