Ive traveled all over the world and this was my favorite stay so far. Tropical, modern, and tranquility. You will need all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive to access the house, but it is well worth it and completely part of the experience. The price was reasonable, and the host was completely available to answer any questions. I plan on making this a yearly stay.

Pristine, newly built home with privacy and quiet. Beautiful landscape and incredible Pacific views. Be up early for sunrise! Perfect space to spend time in the natural landscape. We especially loved the kitchen, eat in space and outdoor patio for cooking and eating our meals. Butterflies, monkeys, and birds! Easy check in, checkout. You will need a 4 x 4 vehicle. We are planning our return this Summer. Thank you Annalen and Joachim for a great stay.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review — we’re delighted you enjoyed your stay. The privacy, peaceful setting, and incredible Pacific views are exactly what we personally value most, which is why we chose this location and designed the home the way we did. We’re especially happy that you enjoyed the kitchen, dining area, and outdoor patio — creating a space to cook, gather, and be surrounded by nature was very intentional. And yes, the early sunrise is always worth it! We’re honored that you’re already planning your return and look forward to welcoming you back this summer. Warm regards, Annalen

JB was great with local recommendations and responded immediately to our questions. We planned a laid-back escape and loved the house and surrounding area. The house had everything we needed, was gorgeous, as pictured and was close to the areas we wanted to explore while still feeling like we were far from people. It was fun to drive into Santa Teresa and we were glad we didnt base there. Our location ended up being the perfect spot for relaxation while having amenities and restaurants nearby. Great bird watching, heard howler monkeys every morning and the pool was always clean and refreshing after a day exploring.Insects were a non-issue in the house and that was a concern of mine when booking. Id definitely recommend this stay for couples or a group of friends who want to be immersed in nature while relatively close to amenities.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed both the house and the surrounding area, and that the balance between relaxation, nature, and nearby amenities was exactly what you were looking for. It’s great to know you appreciated the bird watching, the howler monkeys in the mornings, and the refreshing pool after your adventures. We’re also especially glad the house felt comfortable and insect-free, since we know that can be an important concern when staying immersed in nature. Thank you as well for your kind words about JB — we’ll be sure to share them. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!

The home is highly designed. Views are beautiful. Rooms are spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was fantastic. Two pair of macaws came by each afternoon. The caretaker is very accessible, thoughtful and helpful. For awareness, the a/c is only in the upstairs bedrooms. There are plenty of windows to open for a cross breeze in the common areas. The pool and pool deck are shaded by early afternoon. Some will love this to minimize sun exposure; it also keeps the pool water a bit cool. Overall we had the home and hope to return.
