Extended family and I stayed at this house for a long weekend earlier in August. While it rained quite a bit we found plenty to do. The dock is a short walk away from the house and the water felt great. The house is as advertised, very secluded with comfortable beds and extremely clean. We found games and puzzles to keep kids busy and were able to watch team USA kick some butt in the Olympics. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a larger place to hole up on the lake.
We just returned from Greer's Ferry Lake and our stay at this property. There was some rain over the week-end but
didn't stop the fun. There were 5 pre teen age children in the family and 8 adults. Plenty of room for all. When we were not on the lake the 3 flat screens keep the kids (and adults) entertained, we were able to cheer for the USA in Rio. We plan to return next summer. T Walker
My family and I, plus my best friend and his kids, rented this wonderful cabin for 3 nights. From the moment we drove up we knew we made the right choice. The cabin is fantastic! Plenty of space. The downstairs basement was wonderful. A second kitchen was really useful. The best part was the pontoon and the lake. The cabin is in a very quiet cove. All 5 kids really enjoyed swimming off the boat dock. We found a cliff to jump off that had a set of stairs, that made the whole trip worth it. The first time you drive to the cabin it feels like it take forever. It's really not that far from two gas stations and a Dollar Gen. I would warn that the trek down to the lake can get a little dicey. The house sets on a hill and the walk trail down to the boat dock and lake is steep. The 3 adults and 5 kids in our group had a no problems. Don't not let that deter you, this place is AWESOME!!
We rented this cabin for 3 nights and had a great time. The location is on Greers Ferry Lake in Arkansas. Views from the cabin to the lake are great. The cabin was very comfortable with the required necessities. Our highlight included renting their pontoon boat. A must, especially if you bring kids.
We recently returned home from staying a week at this beautiful log lake house. It was very nice and peaceful there. I and my son went on vacation with my boyfriend his two sisters and their families and his parents. A total of 14 altogether. We decided to rent the boat for the entire week instead of a couple days. We also took the hour drive up to Mountain View to Loco Ropes. A man who works there suggested Blanchard Springs Caverns a little further north. They have cave tours and springs there. We recommend both. But, take the discovery tour. We didn't and we wish had since that's the one where you might get to see bats. I would like to mention that the walk up to the house from the dock is a little difficult and also there wasn't a DVD player as it says from the amenities section. But, we took a couple of laptops so we just hooked one up to the tv and watched movies that way. Also we found a lot of very small ticks on us. So, if you have small children you should check them every day. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and had a lot of fun. We were looking for a place where the kids could just play around in the water and someone suggested Sandy Beach. It was flooded but we still had fun watching the kids play around in the water. Hope you and your family enjoy your trip as much as our family did.
Our family spent a long week end at the Log Lake Home in July. What a blessing to get most of the family, from Kansas, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Arkansas together for fun, family, and fellowship. We held a horse shoe contest, went out in the boat, fished and went swimming. Wonderful time was had by all. TW
Beautiful log cabin in a very secluded location with awesome view of Greers Ferry Lake.
