Let's start with the good...the place was clean and well maintained. Clean bedding and towels etc. As far as the rest...the apartment was not as advertised with 2 beds in 1 room and 1 in another. 1 bed in each of 2 rooms and a sofa sleeper in the kitchen. BEWARE of this inaccuracy! There was no shower soap and in 4 days, I never got a hot shower. Hot water turned to ice cold water in an instant. I had better showers in Argentina in 1977. When the owner was contacted about the issues, we got no response about water or soap. The apartment is located in a sketchy, "sketch" according to my grandson, part of town. The outside noise was awful and continued well into the late hours. The apartment is on a rather busy street. We found people sleeping on the street across from us, lots of litter and a rundown shopping center (with lots of vacancies) across the street. There was no public transportation to speak of and if there was, I would not have felt safe waiting for it. We felt rather unsafe staying there. I would not recommend staying here to anyone...friend, relative or stranger. If you are going to DC, look elsewhere!
