Relaxing week in St. John's

Took my 74 yr old mom to Nfld as she'd always wanted to go. This property was exactly what we needed and is close to downtown and within walking distance of shops. It is an older building so you can hear people upstairs so that could be an issue for some. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, the bathroom was clean with lots of towels. Loved the sun room, spent most of our time there when we were in.

Lots of rom clean Fully stocked for kitchen use ie pots pans dishes glasses etc Washer and dryer on site Backyard space could use some love and maybe a couple of chairs Location is perfect Very close and within walking distance to downtown and the harbour Easy getting there Not so much getting back all uphill lol

Large apartment very close to downtown.

We really enjoyed the apartment. It was very clean and very spacious. Steven was very responsive to messages. We did have an unfortunate issue with parking. We received a $40 parking ticket for being on the wrong side of the street where cleaning occurred. After googling the rule, we learned that according to day of the week, this determined which side of the street you can park on. Obviously, as visitors we weren’t aware of this and were a little disappointed that this had happened. Having a car rental allowed us to go off exploring and we had a week of creating great memories. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to downtown and waterfront, where there are lots of pubs, restaurants and shops. Be aware though that the walk back is up steep hills.

Surroundings

Although the unit was dated it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor area advertised as a (garden unit ) needs a lot of TLC garden was completely overgrown and the patio area also. The patio was also used for storage and was not appealing to the quite garden as advertised
