Why John Zorowski chose Hill Country

Our family traveled out here all the time growing up and purchased where we loved to vacation. We have added on several times including the DECK that took 3 yrs to build, in our spare time! If you stay here once you will be back. Property is very clean and manicured by family

What makes this estate unique

We are a pet friendly family (small), The deck has an awesome sound system that's waiting for you to connect your music, Ipad, ipods ect. Super fun swimming, fishing, people watching and spending time with family and friends - enjoy responsibly!

Guestbook comments from the manager

Lots of room huge deck, it rained a day glad a huge part of deck was covered

We watched all the toobers - great place

Great property - perfect family weekend!

  • 5 of 5

We wanted to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday with a family river float and plenty of grilling - this property was perfect. We had people ranging from age 60 to 3 spread across 4 different families and we were all comfortable. The deck and backyard was the best part. The views were great for people watching. The deck came complete with a grill, loud speakers, and wifi. We spent the majority of our time on it. We were also able to park the car up river and then float down into the backyard. There is a nice little dock that makes it to easy to get in and our of the river. Or just hang out down there and swim. The inside of the house was also very nice and clean. Had plenty of space, lots of bathrooms, so sharing with that many people was easy. The owner was also very friendly and lives in the front of the property. He was easy to get a hold of and answered all our questions including giving us floating recommendations. Great guy! My dad now wants to book this house for annual family event.

Two years in a row, great every time

  • 5 of 5

We loved the property the first year and decided to come back a second year, and hope to continue in the future. Property is fantastic, as described in the posting. It really is one of the best river fronts you'll find. John is great and very responsive if any issues arrise. We had a septic system issue and he was there immediately and got it taken care of with minimal interference to our group.

Amazing!!

  • 5 of 5

I'm so glad we booked this property! I wasn't too concerned about not seeing pictures of the inside, because it got great reviews. I was more than happy with the houses and the outside property was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room and great views. The huge deck is definitely the best part. The lights on the deck at night were a nice touch and made a great backdrop to a surprise wedding proposal!! Our family visiting from California wants to come back and we will definitely be booking again! I highly recommend this place.

Best rental off river rd!!

  • 5 of 5

Had a family getaway for my aunts retirement and had the best time. Hanging on the deck, cooling off in the river and smoking meats on the smoker. I had 21 people in this home that aged from 7-64 years of age and everybody slept comfortably. John the owner was super accommodating and was always a txt away anytime I needed something which wasn't much considering the home had everything we needed. Thanks again and we are planning to stay even longer next time.
