About this property

Secluded Cabin Retreat Fire Pit & Nature Near Gettysburg

Welcome to The Green Glade Cabin, your private countryside retreat tucked among rolling farmland and fruit trees in Aspers, Pennsylvania.

This charming two-bedroom, one-bath cabin blends rustic character with modern comfort, creating the perfect escape for couples, families, or friends looking to relax and explore the Gettysburg region.

Inside the cabin you’ll find a cozy living area, comfortable bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen designed for easy, relaxed stays. Thoughtful touches throughout the space make it simple to settle in and enjoy the slower pace of the countryside.

Step outside and the real magic of Green Glade begins. The property is surrounded by farmland, orchards, and wide-open skies, offering a peaceful setting that feels far removed from the busy world. Guests often enjoy quiet mornings with coffee on the porch and evenings gathered around the fire pit under a sky full of stars.

Despite its secluded feel, Green Glade is just a short drive from many of the region’s most popular destinations. Gettysburg National Military Park, local wineries, orchards, hiking trails, and scenic drives through Adams County are all nearby.

Whether you're visiting for history, outdoor adventure, apple picking, or simply a peaceful weekend away, Green Glade offers a memorable countryside experience.

Guests especially love the privacy, scenic surroundings, and rustic “glamping-style” cabin atmosphere — rustic charm on the outside with comfortable living inside.
Things to Know About the Location

Green Glade is located in a quiet rural area surrounded by farmland and orchards, offering a peaceful setting away from busy roads and city noise.

The final portion of the drive to the cabin is a country road and gravel on Bear Mountain. During wet weather the drive can occasionally become muddy, so all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended, especially in the winter or after heavy rain.

Because of the rural location, cell phone service may be limited depending on your carrier, though many guests find this to be a welcome opportunity to unplug and enjoy the surroundings. Wi-Fi is available inside the cabin for staying connected if needed.

The peaceful setting and wide-open countryside are part of what make Green Glade special. Guests who appreciate nature, privacy, and quiet evenings under the stars tend to enjoy the property the most.

This place was perfect for our little getaway! The area was beautiful, the cabin itself was cute and quaint and met all of our needs. Easy self check in. The view from the deck was wonderful and we enjoyed a few meals outside. It was comfy, cozy, and a perfect spot not too far away from what we wanted to do in Gettysburg. Everything was clean and well cared for. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, there were plenty of towels, blankets, etc. Would definitely recommend this place to stay! My mother and I (and dogs) absolutely loved it!

We had an amazing weekend stay here! The host even had cute fall decorations out adding to the charm. Very pet friendly—-the gates on the deck and ability for our well behaved dog to be off leash were great perks. The cabin is well stocked with games and anything else you would need. My boyfriend enjoyed cooking burgers on the grill. Wonderful star gazing and the place is surrounded by orchards! So much to do in a small town. Adjacent to hiking and Gettysburg. Tons of golf in the area. Only wish we could’ve stayed longer!*We have an SUV, so we’re able to drive up the gravel road/driveway without issue. Would recommend 4WD/AWD if staying here.
