Completely renovated with custom windows, gourmet kitchen, hardwood floors, and artistic trim. one full bed, one queen bed plus queen futon in sleeping loft which is accessed by a steep ladder. Our kitchen is fully stocked! Microwave, coffee maker, and all the pots and pans for a holiday meal! Sleep to the sound of the adjacent creek. There is a streamside fire ring and a grill on the patio. Pets welcome!

Perfect little cabin!

Such a beautiful home on the stream! We loved every bit of it especially the gorgeous views. Paul was great, very responsive, and let us check in a few hours early. No issues with anything!

Nice Cabin feel with more modern inside.

Enjoyed this stay right next to a beautiful trout stream with and Woods . We had everything we needed along with YouTube tv available to sign into. (Glad we started YouTube tv so it made it easy to have all our saved programs for this trip. Had a great time in Gettysburg .

Weekend getaway

My husband and I wanted to get away for a long weekend and found this cozy little cabin on Vrbo. It was so relaxing with the stream out back, we sat there for hours. We spent 1 day in Gettysburg and one at the cabin just relaxing. Will definitely be back.

Long awaited reunion

Serene, gorgeous atmosphere. Dogs loved the stream. Cabin in some need of repair. Black remote runs TV & volume on the right side. Not listed in book, but the owner was wonderful to come down & explain. Any issues call owner not manager. More personable.

Quick getaway

It was a great little get away. A little dusty with cobwebs, but not dirty. Easy trip to Gettysburg. True description for little to no cell service. Didn’t right down key lock code before getting there and it took a while to get a signal to get in.

Woodsy retreat

Absolutely, loved our stay at this property. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful place, this is it. Our kids loved playing in the stream behind the house and our dog loved our walks in the morning and evening on the country road.

Quiet and serine

My husband and I loved the little cabin. It had everything you need, was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out back by the creek. It was relaxing. The location was not too far from Gettysburg which is where we visited while there. Great experience!!

Great Location but - Be careful with pets

We traveled to the area to participate in the NADD event at the Historic Round Barn. We needed pet friendly for that reason. The cabin was wonderful but the location was not as pet friendly as I would have liked. The cottage was situated right on the road, no shoulders to walk, no place for the dogs to stretch.

Perfect

Very cute cabin and beautiful stream. Watched an owl fly up and down the stream. It was very peaceful and relaxing. View through bedroom windows was beautful. We all had a wonderful time. Owner was very nice and responded quickly to questions prior to visit. Would book again.

Stay over in Gettysburg

We were Traveling to North Carolina from NH and spent two nights in this adorable cabin. So quant and comfortable. Great spot if you travel with dogs since it has a state park and conservation area within walking distance. Great spot on a small stream with a nice table and chairs. Small but well appointed kitchen and tons of towels and extra blankets. We loved it!

Great cabin!

Overall this is a great little cabin. We enjoyed our stay very much. It’s close to Gettysburg and easy to get to. Communication with the property manager was great. I would recommend and would stay here again.

When this cabin came up for sale by the nature preserve next door, I jumped at the chance to transform a tumble down shack on the edge of a mountain stream into a quirky artistic statement that I hope you will enjoy and appreciate. Close to Gettysburg and Liberty Mountain ski resort, yet in a world of its own with Middle Creek lapping up against the patio, you will love the serenity when you arrive. Large windows in both bedrooms practically bring the creek into the room. A fully stocked kitchen makes family meals easy to cook. Hiking trails less than 1/8 mile away, state forest across the stream makes the nature lovers happy. Please note: Our cabin is adjacent to a State forest! Despite our vigilant attempts to make our cabin free from mother nature , occasionally forest insects find the cabin to be as nice a place as we do.
