Lovely historic home very close to all the attractions of downtown Greenville in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The shower is an old soaking tub that has a high step in and out, so if you have mobility issues, be aware. The sun sets through the windows so it did get quite warm - we purchased a fan to help with the temperature. The location was excellent amd we were comfortable for our 2 night stay.
The unit was as described and clean, but there was a terrible smell in the unit. Interestingly there was a can of air deodorizer in the living room upon entry. This did not help. The location was very good as well as quiet.
The apartment fit our needs well. It was close and convenient to down town. Check in and check out was seamless. The apartment was clean and well kept.
Great location! Could not have asked for a better place in terms of size, location space. Owner is taking good care of space and I would definitely stay here again. Perfect for a friend and to use mostly for sleeping and planning , but kitchen was more than sufficient for cooking/ meals too. Thank you for letting us stay!
I’m short and key was in bottom of mailbox. Luckily it came off wall and I could dump out! Surprised there wasn’t a toaster. Everything else was good, clean and in a nice area. Convenient parking.
Unfortunately, the online photos do not accurately reflect the condition of the property. The listing is significantly misrepresented, and as a result, my wife and daughter chose to leave the same day.
Everything went well with getting into the Vrbo. The place was pretty clean and the parking was nice. It was very close to downtown and the train station, which was convenient for us. It was a decent little place, but could have used some plug in fans since there weren’t any overhead fans. Also, there were k-cups, but it would have been nice to have some sugar for the coffee. It was pretty quiet at night, but early morning the street sounds were definitely noticeable.

Charming place which the price and location helped us overlook some of the cleanliness and maintenance issues. Overall, I would give this 7,5/10 - again, you can walk everywhere (we went to a concert at the arena and had no issue walking and we also walked downtown a few times) and price was reasonable. The off street parking was nice and beds were fantastic. But let’s talk a bit about the overall condition of the property. This is one unit in a house of 4 apartment units in the historic district. Every room had a broken blind on the windows which one had a folded paper towel placed to block anyone from looking in (someone has posted a photo in reviews). The blinds were also dirty and it was clear that cleaning was not a big priority (blinds had dust and what appeared to be sticky liquid on some of them, AC return vent was rusted and dirty, the bathroom shower curtain rail where you’d normally hang a towel was rusty, so we did not hang towels there, and lamp shades were dirty with what looked like makeup). It also appeared in every room there had been leaks and clear water damage to the ceilings - some with peeling popcorn ceilings and water damage on walls. I am not trying to be overly critical but many of these maintenance issues are low hanging fruit that could be fixed pretty inexpensively and make this an easy 9/10 property. Would I stay here again? Yes- the location and value for money is there. If they can clean and dress up some issues this place would be A
Great location and parking was great. Plenty of room and comforts of home. Clean kitchen. **you need sink plugs to be able to wash dishes. Had to use a wash rag and plug sink to do dishes. That’s the only complaint I got.
The unit was very cozy and perfect for the two of us. The beds were comfortable and so was the living room furniture. We chose the property because it was very close to our son. What we did not anticipate was the amount of traffic on the neighborhood street, especially during the work week. With the bedrooms located in the front part of the unit, both the noise and the headlights kept us awake. There are 3 other units in the building and I would choose one of those next time to be further away from the street.

The property leaked in the two bedrooms with passing rain storms. The host was contacted and sent photos of the issue areas. In one room there was water and pieces of plaster that came down from the ceiling. In another room the carpeted floor was wet from a leak from an area near the windows. The host was able to have the plaster pieces cleaned up via a cleaning service, but the carpet remained wet for over a day. The host did apologize for the inconvenience, though there was no follow up or contact after to see if the problems had been fixed.
The host was very nice. The first night I realized that there was a problem with the heat. I did not contact him until the morning, but as soon as I did he sent maintenance with space heaters. Hopefully the owner will discover why there was no hot air coming out of the system. If it effects the heat then it will surely effect future AC as the AC uses the same ducts. I was not aware that the shower involved stepping up into a small claw footed tub. Very uncomfortable. No grab ars for safety. If you are 5" 4" tall and above you will not be very comfortable owing to the lack of height of the shower head. The location is walking distance into town. It is also walking distance to several very good restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet.
