The home is large and has everything needed to cook meals. The 2 story dock that kids can jump off of was great for our grands. They absolutely loved it. This home is as described and Tracey is an absolute gem to work with and answered any questions promptly. If you’re interested in renting at Smith Lake don’t hesitate to rent this property. We had a blast.

Great stay

We had a great stay. Everything was as presented. The home is well equipped with everything needed, and it was a very clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. Beautiful place at the lake.

We had a great stay at Idle Days. The house is very well equipped and there is ample space for up to 14 people. The deck is so peaceful and the house is in a quiet cove on the lake. Plenty of life jackets, beach towels and use of kayak was greatly appreciated! Tracey had excellent communication with us. I would say the house is 4 bedrooms with an additional open sleeping area, rather than 5 bedrooms. The house was very clean however there are a lot of mats and rugs which are somewhat worn and may be a tripping hazard for older adults. Mats on lower level only would prevent wet floors.Overall, this is a great place to stay on Smith Lake!

I am glad you enjoy your stay. I would rather replace low profile floor mats in high traffic areas vs refinished or repair hardwood floors from damage due to luggage roller bags, and heavy foot traffic. Thanks for your feedback.

Great Stay

Very nice house well suited for our family. Kitchen is well stocked. Beach towels provided as well as life jackets. Many games and toys available for use. We are planning on staying here again.

Great Family Get Together

The house was great and the owners had provided just about everything one would want at the lake. Kayaks, beach towels, life jackets, deck chairs, screened porch, and much more. And the kitchen was stocked better than any I've encountered on our vacation stays. Would definitely stay again.

Great place, super nice.

This was a great place to stay. This house and manager/owner has been our favorite place we have stayed at on smith lake. The dock was amazing easy to get into and plenty of room for our 23’ boat. House was well stocked and floor plan was amazing as every bedroom had it own bathroom. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Fishing trip with friends

Fabulous home and location

Idle Days is a wonderful place to host a family reunion. The kitchen is well-stocked with appliances, utensils, spices - everything you could need. The furnishings are updated and very comfortable. The screened porch is awesome for hanging out and enjoying meals! The views of the lake are spectacular. The upper dock is perfect for relaxing and jumping into the lake. It's the best!!

Tracey was an awesome host, easy to get in touch with, and very helpful. The house was very clean, had any kitchen appliance you could think of, and was well stocked. There is abundance of beach towels also which was nice. Would highly recommend this home!

Family Lake Trip August 2022

The house was nice, very clean and well equipped (best we’ve see in a rental). We had everything we needed. The cove was quite and great for swimming. Beautiful view of the lake and sunrise! The owner was very responsive, helpful and quickly answered any questions.

House is amazing. Best stocked rental I’ve seen. Host was great and checked in to see if we needed anything. The dock is the perfect spot to spend the afternoon and the screened in porch is perfect.

We so enjoyed this house. It was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with amenities. Basically bring your food items and everything else was there. The view was great. We also appreciated they were well stocked on towels and beach towels. Definitely would stay again. Also appreciated they checked with on first night to make sure we had what we needed. Thanks again
