Check-in time is at 4 PM. Check-out time is at 11 AM.
As a Superhot, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful family memories in our cozy home. For us to do so, we would truly appreciate it if you can follow these house rules and confirm that it has been reviewed WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOUR BOOKING. This is to ensure that if there is any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you, our guest, will have the option of cancelling the booking as we have a Strict Cancellation policy. Thank you in advance and truly appreciate your cooperation
Prior to checking in, all guests` names and email addresses must be provided. The easiest way to do that is to send information via the app. Any person not included in the booking is not allowed to stay overnight. If you need to add guests to your booking, you can do this via an alteration to your booking.
Please do this before the additional guest stays. If this policy is not followed, you may be charged for the additional guests and will be reported to our booking agency.
Parking
Parking is available, courtesy of the driveway. Our driveway is suitable for sedans or smaller SUVs. If there are larger/longer cars or if more than one car, you can park parallel in front of the house on the opposite side of the mailbox
Quiet Hours and Parties
We love our neighbors, so please observe Quiet Hours between 11 PM and 7 AM.
Parties are not permitted; however, we often host friends or family who are getting together for reunions. If you would like to host an event (i.e. wedding, graduation, not party), please speak with us about it first. Additionally, both Clayton/Garner and the Raleigh area are great places to meet and relax.
If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
Cleanliness
Remove shoes indoors. This helps maintain clean floors.
PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied.
Barbecue
There is a barbecue grill outside, only to be used by guests who are staying at the home and not additional people, as it will be considered hosting a party. After usage, please take your items off the grill. If found left dirty, an extra cleaning fee may be required. Please note, gas for the grill is not supplied by the host.
Miscellaneous
Respect the property. Please do not move or rearrange furniture. Also, report any damage immediately.
We realize that accidents do happen. We understand, and it`s okay. If there is minor cosmetic damage to an item (e.g. a broken coffee cup or chipped plate) please report immediately. Furthermore, please feel free to contribute to the replacement cost, preferably cash on the counter, before leaving, or the next best option.
Feel free to water the kitchen plant regular if you are staying 3 days longer. Thanks in advance!
For safety and security purposes, the property is equipped with five exterior cameras that monitor the premises 24 hours a day.
Please acknowledge that occasionally, by mistake consumables such as condiments or snacks may be left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests` discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.
If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
Pet/Animal Policy
No pets or animals of any kind are permitted inside or on the premises of the property at any time without prior written authorization. This includes companion animals, visiting pets, and animals owned by guests. This strict policy is in place to protect the property from damage, maintain the hygiene and air quality for future guests with allergies, and ensure the peaceful enjoyment of the home for all renters.
SERVICE ANIMALS: `As required by federal and state law, this policy does not apply to service animals specifically trained to assist a person with a disability.`
GUEST RESPONSIBILITY: Any guest needing accommodation for an assistance animal must inform property management in writing before their stay. If an unauthorized animal is discovered on the property, the guest will be subject to an immediate penalty charge of a minimum of $500, plus any extraordinary cleaning charges.
IMMEDIATE REMOVAL: The guest will be required to immediately and permanently remove the animal from the premises
FORFEITURE AND TERMINATION: Violation of this policy is considered a material breach of the rental agreement. The property owner reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement, forfeit the full rental fee, and have the guest removed from the property with no refund.
LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES:
The guest is fully liable for any damage caused by the animal, including deep cleaning, de-cleaning, deodorizing, and replacement of any damaged items or furniture.
VERIFICATION OF VIOLATION: “Upon suspicion or discovery of an unauthorized pet, property management will seek photographic or other credible evidence.”
GUEST NOTIFICATION: A written notice will be issued to the guest informing them of the violation and the required actions to cure the breach (i.e. removal of the pet).
DISCLAIMERS ALLERGY
NOTICE: `To protect future guests with allergies, this is not a pet-free home. While pets are not permitted for guests,
PLATFORM-SPECIFIC POLICIES: Guests booking through third-party platforms (e.g. Airbnb, VRBO & Booking.com) are also subject to that platform`s rules regarding service animals and policy violations. However, this manual and the specific rental agreement take precedence.”
Smoking Policies
No smoking is allowed in the house—nor the garage, patio, or back porch. Smoking and Grilling will only be permitted in the designated area behind the house with clear mark sign. Cigarettes must be disposed of in the ash tray provided. Guests who do not follow the smoking and grilling policy may be liable for an additional cleaning fee of $250. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied.
Check Out Procedure
Before you check out, please gather all used towels and place them on top of the washing machine.
There is an outdoor trash and recycling bin at the side of the house. On your final day, please gather all indoor trash/recycling and place it in the appropriate outdoor receptacles.
We ask that you turn off all lights before leaving. In the summer, please turn the AC to 78 and to 68 in the winter.
My House Rules are and always will be a work-in-progress (any new suggestions are welcome), but since we are a community striving for the same goal of providing a great experience for our guests, I thought I would share it with you all! These policies may be updated at any time, and the version in effect at the time of booking will apply.
