Idealmente ubicado a solo 2 minutos a pie del centro de Alvor con sus numerosos bares, restaurantes y tiendas de calidad, y a 10 minutos a pie de la gloriosa playa de arena, este impresionante y contemporáneo apartamento de 1 dormitorio en el primer piso. Consta de una espaciosa cocina abierta, sala de estar / comedor, impecablemente amueblada y equipada con un sofá en forma de L que se convierte en una cama doble, comedor para 4 personas, TV vía satélite con todos los canales principales en inglés, reproductor de DVD / CD, base para i-pod y Wi-Fi gratis.
La cocina está equipada con electrodomésticos nuevos, modernos y de alta calidad, lavavajillas, lavadora, horno, vitrocerámica, microondas y frigorífico. Hay aire acondicionado y calefacción en salón y dormitorio. Baño con ducha / bañera. El salón se abre a un balcón con vistas a la piscina con impresionantes vistas del estuario de Alvor.

The Apartment is spacious, very well equipped and is ideally located. There is a garage space that is really useful. The host is helpful, friendly and efficient and provided us with a few useful products. The TV and wifi add to the experience of being somewhere that has everything you need for a great stress-free holiday.

Fabulous property, everything you could need. Although only 1 bedroom, large sofa bed, lounge & kitchen area were substantial.Beautiful views, perfect quiet location.

First class apartment

We have visited Alvor about 20 times and have stayed in lots of places. This apartment at Solrio is perfect in every respect. Location, size, comfort, cleanliness, facilities and the view were all excellent. Communication and helpfulness of the owners were great. Would love to stay again in the future.

Fantastic location,apartment and hosts

We have just returned from solrio for 10 nights ,it was best holiday we have had as a family ,great location and apartment was like a home from home ,everything you could possibly need for your stay from all mod cons ,including flat screen tv with all sports channels to all the floaters and buckets and spades for kids,best sleep ever with black out shutters,from start to finish holiday was great , relaxing lazy mornings with no worries about sunbeds and all shops and restaurants a 5 minute stroll away ,perfect getaway that suits all,and neil and Helen perfect hosts on hand to help you with anything you need including transfers if needed .

Wonderful !!!

Fantastic apartment and complex....so quiet..just what we needed...so convenient for supermarket,shops and Restaurants ...Helen and Neil are the perfect hosts and are always on hand...welcome goodies were a nice touch...The apartment was spotless and very comfortable..We have stayed in Alvor on many occasions and Solrio is the best place by far...Thank you Helen and Neil...we will return !!

Loved it.

The apartment is great for a lazy holiday, we needed it. My wife really enjoyed the front balcony for the morning sun and the rear balcony in the afternoon. The location is perfect too just two minutes walk from the centre of everything Alvor has to offer. Great pool with your own loungers to enjoy the pool if it gets too hot.The basement garage was a great extra also if you've hired a car. What a great relaxing holiday. Everything provided in the apartment was excellent. Lovely place hoping to be back next year.

Fabulous apartment

This is one of the nicest apartments we have ever stayed in. It is very well appointed with dual aspect balconies for following all day sun. The views across to the river are beautiful and it's hard to believe you are just a few minutes walk from the town. The nearest supermarket is a five minute walk, as is the nearest restaurant. The pool and garden area were very well maintained though we didn't use either; need to come back in the summer for that! If you are looking for home from home accommodation that is in a world of its own but with everything on the doorstep, look no further.

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location

Booking was straight forward and any questions were answered quickly. We were very lucky to be able to get into the apartment on arrival as we were very early. We have met Neil and Helen before and they were as friendly and professional as before. The small welcome pack was appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean and very modern. It is great that the apartment has a balcony at the front and the back so both the morning and evening sun can be enjoyed. Great selection of TV channels for the children, catch-up TV also available. Wifi also available. There is a main pool, but also a separate children's pool. 4 sun beds for our private use were available by the pool. The apartment is in a fantastic location close to the town and harbour (5 min walk). It takes about 15 minutes to get to the long sandy beach.

Great Holiday

We visited Alvor in June this year and loved it. We stayed in Helen and Neil's apartment and thought it was perfect. The apartment is fab and in a great spot with a beautiful pool and gardens, the whole complex is very well maintained and unless you want to go tripping off the beaten track you really don't need a car. The supermarket is nearby (5 mins walk), the lovely village of Alvor is on your doorstep and the bus service is excellent. We went to Lagos for a trip out one day and loved it - 20 mins on the bus each way and about £8 each, return. There are some lovely restaurants in Alvor just a few of them are - Rucula (excellent but book about a week in advance), O'Alcaide (on a back street opposite the lovely bakers), Caravela (might be spelt wrong but lovely). We loved the boardwalk and walked along this and the beach for about 5 miles each morning, it was beautiful!! We chose to eat in for a few evenings as the apartment was so lovely and we watched the beautiful sun sets from the balcony. Don't forget to try the little custard tarts from the bakers and do visit the daily market in Alvor where you can get lovely fresh food. We will definitely return, thank you. Angela and Simon

Es lief alles reibungslos ab. Das Appartement war sauber. Ein Reisebett wurde auf unsere Anfrage hin zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Aussicht ist toll. Der Dorfkern ist fußläufig direkt erreichbar.

Lovely apartment in a great location

This apartment is modern, simply but comfortably furnished. It has 2 balconies, one for morning sun and one for afternoon sun and sundowners - perfect. The facilities are all as described so we wanted for nothing. It is a mere stroll into the village to the many restaurants, and the river front, and only a 15 minute pleasant stroll to the most fantastic of beaches.

Beautiful apt in Alvor

This apt is really good the location, the pool, parking was excellent. The owners could not be more helpful when we arrived they had a welcome pack which was appreciated. I would recommend this apt to everyone

Very nice apartment in a perfect location

It was everything we expected. Nice apartment equipped with everything we needed. Two lovely balconies with a choice of sunshine or shade and a wonderful view from the back. Helen and Neil were there on time to meet us when we arrived and left a few essentials in the fridge to start our holiday which we appreciated. Overall this was a very nice apartment in a wonderful location. We would have no hesitation recommending this apartment as a perfect location for a visit to Alvor. Regards Gerry Walsh

Beautiful apartment.

We are just back from a 10 night stay in this beautiful apartment. We were met by Helen and shown around. This apartment is beautiful, modern, bright and spacious, with everything you could need. There was also a welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. 2 balconies which capture both morning sun and the evening sun set is amazing. An extra bonus is the english channels and sky sport. The location of the apartment is so convienent. A few minutes stroll into the village. If you have a car which e did( you don't need a car) the under ground garage is so convienent and easilly accessible. Would love to return again but these apartments are in high demand. Thanks again. Amazing apartment perfect location .

From start to finish myself and husband came here for a last minute weekend break very lucky it was available. It's the most perfect location to everything. Helen and neil thanks for the lovely touch of your welcome pack . We walked to beach everyday it takes 15 mins approx then we headed down to the harbour in the evening and it's such a lovely spot . Loads of restaurants to pick from . Out fav was Atruim 53 gorgeous food . We most certainly be back

Just perfect!

We have just had the privilege of spending 10 days in this beautiful apartment. This wasn't our first visit to Alvor, but was our first visit to the Solrio and we just didn't want to come home! Having stayed in Neil & Helen's accommodation before we had no doubt that this apartment would be just as good, well it topped the scales - everything you needed was provided and as soon as you walk in the door you feel like you are at home. We don't actually think the photo's on this site do it justice, the views are to die for and we loved the peace & quiet also. As others have already said, you can follow the sun (if you wish) on the balconies. We enjoyed a morning cuppa on the front balcony and the afternoon sun and the most amazing sunsets from the larger balcony at the rear of the property. Neil very kindly collected & returned us to the airport, and showed us how everything worked in the apartment (including instructions via text when we messed the tv up!) The essential provisions provided for us on arrival were really appreciated (as was Neil's recommendation to the little bakery just down the road, perfect for your morning pastries!) Thank you again Neil & Helen, we kind of wish you didn't have such a great apartment as it may be easier to find availability to return in the very near future! We do hope though, to see you again in 2019, if not before! Clyde & Caroline Moon (& Mum!)

Beautiful apartment

We had a fabulous week in this beautiful apartment. Only 5 minutes from amenities and restaurants made this a perfect position. just back from another wonderful holiday in alvor. we stayed at the solrio. it was everything stated and more. the two balconies,gave you sun in the morning and a wonderful sunset. it had all that you needed for a special holiday. the supermarket is only a few minutes walk away and alvor centre can be reached in five minutes. the beach is also close by . Neil & Helen made sure everything was in place for our arrival even arranged transferesan extra nice touch was the milk,water and wine. a special place to stay

Great Apartment, Great Location

We have had many holidays in Alvor and watched these apartments being built. They are everything we expected and more. Breakfast on the front balcony in the morning sun and in the evening sipping a glass of wine while watching the sun set over the estuary on the main balcony (and the sunsets really are breathtaking). The apartment itself is stylish, modern and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Allocated sun beds made for relaxing afternoons around the pool. And Alvor is a gem of place, the beach stretches for miles, the boardwalk to a sandy little island is well worth a walk and then there is the harbour and the village itself. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs (big thumbs up for the Crows Nest). Away from the busy areas there are lots of beautiful traditional streets, squares and several churches, well worth exploring. The apartment is within 5 minutes to the main square and 2 minutes to a supermarket for all you might need. Helen and Neil were most welcoming and made sure we had all the information we needed. They really are a lovely couple. To be able to make a tea or coffee or have a glass of wine due to the provision they left for us was very thoughtful and much appreciated. I cannot recommend the apartment and Alvor highly enough. We Will be back!

Fabulous views!!

When we arrived we were greeted by Neil and Helen who showed us around the beautiful apartment and were extremely welcoming and courteous, as had been the case in all my previous correspondence with them. The apartment is beautifully finished with all modern appliances and fittings but the pièce de résistance had to be the views from the 1st floor balcony at sunset, absolutely to die for! The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk to the centre of the village and ideally located near the large pingo doce supermarket which is great for stocking up on any essentials. Alvor itself is such a pretty village, sleepy during the day but a lovely buzz at night with loads of great bars and restaurants to choose from. We hope to be back again one day!!
